I am sorry you had this happen to you, like many others it is hard to undo, whilst you will never forget what happened to you, you have to determine that you have the rest of your life ahead and you need to get to the point whre you accept that it did indeed happen to you, put it away and move on. I do believe that some therapy is always in order as you can speak it out and get help that way. I also have some tricks that can work if you persevere ...Very often it is our thoughts and only our thoughts that make us feel bad, Its Impossible to experience any negative feeling without first creating a negative corresponding thought, The truth is ,our thinking will always create the reality we percieve, when we are stressed we are thinking stressed thoughts. Digest that. I do believe also we can get many physical symptoms when we let our thoughts ,the negative ones rule us. Next time you feel that anxious out of control creeping up on you, Distract your self do not let the thoughts take you back to those distressing , times you had,Focus on what you are doing, talk to a friend, read, play music, tell your self ' Nothing is happening ,I am okay, I will feel better soon' Good luck there is a great book out there with all this in it, called 'Slowing Down to the Speed of life' By Richard Carlson
