1st time question

I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask this, but here is my question.

I find that I often in my mind relive either a situation that happened to me in the past or something that is about to happen. And while doing that alter the dialogue or actions to create various scenarios that didnt really happen, or trying to predict scenarios that might happen when the actual process will take place. Usually this is related to stressful situations like family arguments or job interviews for example.

When I do that I sometimes start jesturing while I am re-enacting in my mind whatever it is.

Is this healthy or is it a sign of some sort of stress disorder and I should seek help?

Thanks.

I was so happy that cell phones came into existence. I can now have those "conversations" with my stearing wheel and people think I am simply on my cell. I talk, react, go through answers and flail my hands/arms. And I am perfectly normal. Just feel really funny when the grandkids ask me "grandma, who are you talking to?" I simply say "myself" and they just dismiss it.
