Very faint line on pregnancy test - am I pregnant?

I’m on the pill however for the past few days I’ve been having thick brown discharge which has now turned into a more liquidy light pink. I looked it up and saw on some sights that this is an early sign of pregnancy so started to panic. I’ve taken a clear blue pregnancy test and I can see a very very faint line.

I’m not due on my period for another 8 days.

Could I be pregnant? Should I take a pregnancy test in the week I’m due on?

I haven’t been great with the pill (i.e missed 2/3 days in a row and then doubled up as soon as I realised) which is making me panic even more.

Any help/advice would be appreciated...

So, did you leave the test sit or read it right away?  Those tests will develop an evaporation line if they sit and you read it outside what the box says.  Did the faint line appear immediately?  If so, then you are likely pregnant as there is rarely a false negative with those.  If you let it sit, you probably are not since you are on the pill BUT missing 2 to 3 days in a row was NOT good and could definitely mess up your pregnancy prevention.

So, let me know when you read the test, right away or did the line show later?
