If you skipped the day your period was suppose to start then a dollar store one works great. Just remember to wait the recommended 3 minutes. I thought mine was negative at first but nope 3 minutes I had a second line. They work the same it's even the ones the doctors use.

I think I took the first response to early because it gave me 2 negatives so I'm. Going to try this week and see,  I'm 8 days late on my period

Not clearblue unless it's digital. Blue dye tests are famous for false positives and evaps. Buy pink dye. I bought the ones from the dollar store, they are cheap and pick up the same amount of hCG as the more expensive First Response Early Result tests.

By the way I used dollar store tests finding out I was pregnant both times I've been pregnant. I almost couldn't believe I was pregnant this time because I was so excited that I thought the test was lying to me so I bought like 10 they were all positive and I got that positive 2 1/2 weeks after conception. 4 weeks after my last period

I'm 19 and I used ept today and got a positive. I believe I was a week away from getting my period. The positive line was darker than the test line.
