Is this morning sickness?

I'm almost 6 weeks, and the past two days when I've woken up my stomach feels upset, but it feels more like upset because I'm hungry, but it's so upset I don't want to eat. I don't feel that hungry, either, so it's weird. More like an empty feeling in my stomach. Well tonight while I was making dinner I got that same feeling, it felt like I was starving, even though I ate a couple of hours earlier, so I ate, quite a bit, and it still feels that way! I don't know if it's classified as nausea or morning sickness, but it's getting more and more frequent! :(

Thanks ladies!! I've been taking prenatals for about 3 months now since we were trying to get pregnant, so I just switched from OTC to prescribed. Before I got pregnant I alwaysss craved sweets, so it's SO weird for me to not want sweets at all, literally cookies wouldn't last a few days in our house, and I have just not wanted anything. Since my nipple soreness is leaving and that was about the only symptom I was having, it freaks me out!!

i had this also. keep some saltine crackers by your bed and eat a cracker before even sitting up. and then keep crackers or a snack on hand all day. keep snacking, aim to have something every 2 hours. even if its just 2 crackers or half an apple or anything, nothing huge, but something for your stomach to munch on. sometimes just taking a sip of water will help. so keep up with the water too. hope that is helpful. and i would say its morning sickness. mine was gone by 12 weeks, hope its the same for you. : )

You ladies will be just fine. Congrats!!!! ^_^
It's going to be fun. I start having symptoms at week 2, been a long ride, lol.
Just remember, crackers is going to your best friend for the first month or so. I live on that and toast for the first two months. By then your body should be telling you what you want to eat. Don't be surprise if you start craving thing you use to not care for and hate the food you use to love. For me it was oranges, I start eating them by the case by month 2. And don't want any ice cream or chocolate at all. Funny how it work out.
Also, start taking prenatal vitamins if you haven't done so already. Like one a day woman prenatal with DHA. It help making sure both you and the baby get the nutrition ever if your not eating much.
Drink lot of water too.
Otherwise just relax and enjoy the ride :)

Ya, you skip hungry and went straight to starving but you don't really want to eat. Your stomach feel sick and empty at the same time. I through I was done with that but guess what, mine come back around 35 weeks T_T. Oh well.
You should keep a zip lock bag of crackers next to your bed. Pop a couple of pieces in when you wake up in the morning or whenever you feel hungry. It will help settle your stomach. Hang in there, it will go away in a few weeks :)

I was the same way earlier in my pregnacy and still now sometimes and im 15w1d. I would stay so hungry and sick at the same time to where I didnt have an appetite but felt like I could eat continuously all day when I did have an appetite. I still feel this way now every morning because of an empty stomach and have learned I have to force myself to eat now that im in my second trimester the baby takes more out and I almost passed out from not eating one morning. But thank god mine never went farther than feeling sick like that. But I actually think im getting used to it now. Good luck on your pregnacy! :)

I would say it's the start of it, I was that of just having that feeling til 9 weeks then the actual vomiting started.... right now I would just make sure you are eating something with protein every couple of hours and then right before bed and right when you wake up. it helps alot and hopefully you can avoid it being any worse

I was like that in the beginning of my pregnancy..I felt like I wanted to eat all the time but at times couldn't because I had a "sick" empty stomach feeling. Just try to push through it, it will get better
