When I found out at 7 weeks I was pregnant my doctor told me I didn't need to take them. My gyno said the same. I'm now 31 weeks and everytging is good

The only thing is, even if delivered in a chewy form, it's still the same vitamin that has been making you sick.  ??  Gummy's are a good option when you have trouble with the pills.

Here's a list that says what is different about prenatal vitamins--

Folic acid, Vitamin A and C, Zinc, Calcium and DHA are the main things that are different.

good luck

VitaFusionPrenatal vitamins.  They are sold on amazon or at wal mart and probably other places.  If you don't see them, ask the pharmacist.  But you can definitely get them online.  good luck

The main difference between prenatal and regular vitamins is the iron , they have iron free chewable prenatal vitamins . The iron is what upsets your stomach , so try the iron free ones . I know walgreens , and cvs stores carry them .

Ya know, I'll just say it.  There are whole hosts of doctors that think vitamins are just expensive urine (as in we pee most of it out) and if you read, certain things are hard to actually absorb in pill form.  So, if you can't take the prenatal, do just try a chewy of any sort, maybe add folate to it if you can and otherwise, just eat really healthy.  Follow the food pyramid and get lots of protein, vitamins from fruits and vegis, and your dairy and you should be fine.

Don't get me wrong, I took a prenatal vitamin.  But, the baby will most likely be fine if you just can't do it.  good luck

What do you mean, not working?

I think the main difference between prenatals and regular vitamins is folic acid.  I'd just take a regular multivitamin and then a folic acid or folate tablet on top of that if you aren't taking prenatal vitamins.  good luck

I also took them at night.  The gummy alternative is a good one if you have trouble with larger pills (as they always seem kind of big, don't they?).  good luck
