I know it is a stressful time but you have to relax hon. :>) Nothing ever goes exactly text book and analyzing it so much will drive you insane. Your best bet? Stay occupied. Get a book, visit a friend, rent some movies, clean something. All of that good stuff. The mucus plug is such that it often isn't a 'plug' or an EVENT that happens. It is just a dislodging of mucus over time. I never had a dramatic loss of mucus plug with either of my kids. Just excess discharge in the last few weeks of pregnancy. Bloody, boogery goop. Some women do lose it more in a shorter time. But I tell ya, I lost mine and had my baby close to 3 to 4 weeks later. I was at 1 cm and then 2 for about that same amount of time for my first. I thought I was in labor a couple of times and still had my baby 10 days past 40 weeks. So, this is the hard part--- but keep busy to make it go faster. good luck
Well I thought I lost all my plug yesterday morning but I think I just finished it off ? Does that make a difference now that I dont have my MP.... I'm not having contractions just small pains in my hips and thighs...
Babies come when they are ready. Some women stay dilated and effaced for what seems like forever some don't until they are actually in labor. I went into labor at 33 weeks with my first and he came the very next day I wasn't dilated or effaced at all before I went into active labor every baby and pregnancy is different it doesn't make a difference. Baby could come today If they are ready
