Advice... Baby boy

So today I had an appointment with my dr and she was explaining our options to circumsize our little boy when he arrives. (we are most deffinatly getting it done 100%) She said we have two options 1: being in the hospital after he's born and 2: being two or so weeks later at the pediatricians office. I don't know which we should choose. It's $275 to get it done and she says the hospital charges an additional fee on top of that. I am just really nervous about waiting 2 weeks. Won't that make it more painful for my little man? What option would you ladies choose?? The money doesn't matter in y decision I just can't decide which is better!!

I just wouldn't get it done. But it's a personal choice.

Just because you can keep it clean without removing it and I just couldn't handle handing my baby over to get part of his bit chopped off. I would rather let him make the choice himself because if later in life he wants it he can't grow it back. I would rather not risk the infection

But I'm having a girl so it doesn't really matter.

Is infection common? I've heard horror stories from family friends that did not get it done and ended up getting excruciating painful infections later in life. I guess either way you risk infection
