pressure n Braxton Hicks ALREADY!?

I am currently 20+4 and having what I believe are Braxton hix for the past 2 days. They are painful but not unbearable. They are much more frequent when i'm up and active, and calm down allot when I lay down. This morning (past 2 hours), I have been having one every10 minutes approx, and I have had non stop pressure in my crotch and on my pubic bone. I'm still feeling regular movements and no bleeding or anything. I just want to know if this is normal, being that i'm only 20 Weeks. My last pregnancy my water broke at 33Weeks and i'm horrified of preterm labor. I also never experienced Braxton Hicks or contractions with my last pregnancy so I have no idea what they feel like. Please help me with this one! I haven't called my doc yet cause every time I call they just say come in without giving me advise over the phone and if possible I need to hold out until i'm off work at 4pm. Its only 9am where i'm at.

Doc says Braxton Hicks, and to keep off my feet until my appointment Monday, and if they become too strong to talk through, more frequent, or I see blood, then I should head to the er.

Well I called nurse triage just to be sure, cause its kinda a lot of pressure, and they asked if they could call me back after talking with my doctor, so now i'm just trying to be patient and hoping I can finish up the work day, but if choose baby comes first so I will go if that is what they suggest

Mine started at 15 weeks and are painful sometimes. You need lay down for at least 30 minutes when it happens and drink a lot of water. I'm 32+2 now and theyve gotten better, but still are painful if I've been too active. Been in l&d 3 times for them.

Def sounds like BH. I started getting them around 17 wks. When they get more frequent you should really slow down and drink lots of water and try to relax. They can get pretty intense!

No u definitely need to go to ur doc. They're not supposed to be painful at all just maybe a bitbuncomfortable! That sounds like labor is getting very close if not in early labor!
