Me and my bf broke up for good today. 11 weeks along. Not sure what to do. Highly considering adoption bcuz i cant afford a place alone with a child. And i hardly have a stable couch to sleep on so i know id NEVER have a Home for a child. Stressed to the max. Sometimes i wish i didnt get pregnant.
Apply for Medicaid, food stamps and cash assistance at your local DSHS office. Find your local WIC office and apply for WIC. Also go to apartmentfinder.org and look for low income, income based and subsidised housing. I wish you luck.
Sorry you're going thru this. Adoption is a good option.but since u want to keep your child then your gonna regret it later on. You dont have to make a decision right now. Let him get the apartment so u have a roof over ur head. See what aid you'll qualify for..WIC, MEDICAL ASSISTANCE, FOOD STAMPS, PUBLIC HOUSING. Child support if yall dont get bavk together. Then get an education & a good job. It sounds like a lot but i know you'll do the right things to keep your baby
I wamt to keep my child but it deserves better than I can do right now. The childs father swears hell have a place for us to go by october. Our own apartment. Problem is.. Is hes been lying about working. I know for sure he starts a new one monday but who knows how long hell have it amd how quick ill be back to where i began. I never ever thought id be pregnant and be where i am today. Let alone abasixally a potential dead beat father.
Weigh your options. I'm currently 8 weeks and I'm still working on my degrees in college so of course it will be stressful and I understand the stress. I cannot speak for your partner but have a civil conversation with him and see where his head is at. Whichever you decide don't do it under stress, clear your mind and get to a place where you can make a decision you can stand by. Good luck.
I'm so sorry to hear that, Ihope things get better for you... If you think adoptions the best for your child because you won't be able to support your child like you would like to then more power to you honey! I'm sorry you have to go thru this to begin with but stay strong... Good luck
