IM CONFUSED, ANY ADVICE?

iam 28 wks,my bf and i have been 2ghtr for 6yrs i am really close with my family but they dont understand why i jus want to give our daughter his last name and not both of ours. My bf jus want his last name to be passed on to her. I dont want any confusion btwn him and my family. They believe since we arent married she should have both. I dont have my fathers last name but he was in my life fully until he passed. Im so confused cus i know i cant make everyone happy. What should i do.?

Ive been with my bf for 4 and a half years not married and my son is getting his last name its noones decision but mine... its up to u not ur family if u want her to have his then do it  .

I have my son his dad's last name and we weren't married and never did get married.  Before I married my husband I also gave our daughter his last name.  You don't have to please everyone. Just you and your partner.  It's no one else's business.

We have the same problem but it's true it's not anyone's decision but ours. I have both my dads and moms last name but my bf only has his dads. My mom is so like on my *** saying shes gonna have mine to etc but in reality I've never used my moms so I feel like what's the point of my baby girl having both if they end up using one most of the time.
