Boyfriend going out

Hi

I know I'm not the only one but my boyfriend goes out constantly not to social drink but to get drunk. We had his family supper for Christmas and we finished around 9:00 and he was gone by 9:30 to go out with his friends...on Christmas...
He works hard hours, yes so having a drink here and there is completely ok but recently it's getting to be annoying when I stay at home and he gets balligarant. When I confront him about it he asks me "why I don't go with him"...which bothers me cause I don't think he realizes how uncomfortable I am plus him drink excessively doesn't make it any better.

How do I work around or with this? Because it's getting really hard to deal with.

This type of problem is way too common. I've always heard that people won't stop drinking until they hit rock bottom..until they lose everything. Just remember that it's him not you. If he won't stop after discussions or if he starts to mistreat you, strongly consider leaving.

I see what you mean. Like if it was family that is totally fine but when I give up my Christmas to go visit your family and you decide to go off with your friends and get hammered and leave ME waiting on the bed..at your families house is not right.
Also asking me to "come with you next time" is just an excuse for you to get drunk and I have to sit there and watch you get wild with your friends. Definitely not fun.
He also hasn't kicked out his friend who needed a temporary place to stay. His friend is staying in the babies room and I'm due in March and I can't start decorating until he moves the f**k out.

Ok I kno exactly where yhuu comin from myii boyfriend did me like this tonight I'm 29 weeks nd I'm a first time mom so I'm scared to be by myself cause I don't want any thing to happen nd I try to explain that to him he leaves go get messed up with his friends nd then come back nd go to sleep on me nd tries to tell me to come with him but I don't like being around his friends so yhuu are not alone I jus simply tell him once I have the baby nd I recover well nd it's myii turn to have fun I don't wanna hear nothing

I feel like u should tell him that he needs to cut back and that going out with him is nt something yhu want to do cause u are pregnant ....if tgat doesn't work then u need to think about plan b

Idk how to deal w it also. But I'm dealung w the samething. I'm usually my bf DD since in pg and all. But it suck watching him have fun w friends. Tonight I just told him I'm due any day now go have fun w ur family cause we live 5 hrs away and hardly see them. And I'm in his room waiting. Lol
