You can have one as soon as you find out the gender. My sister had hers at 6 months.

Im due the 17th my baby shower was december 7th it was planned starting end of october so I could get the place and all thru november

I alrdy started planning as far as wt I want n the theme of my shower but ppl are telling me its bad luck n I shld stop n wait til I'm about 5-6 months pregnant but I thnk that's to late to start planning somethng

I will have my first shower when I am 34 and my second shower at 36 weeks. But there really is no right or wrong time. If your finding out the sex you will want to do that before your shower though. Some people do it in the mid 20 weeks so they have time to organize, take beck anything and get things they need that they didn't already.

Theres no "right or wrong" time to have your shower dear ... I'm having mine next Saturday and I will be 34 weeks... But my friend had hers at 28 weeks... It all depends on what works for you   ... The earlier you have it the more time you have left to get what you need but also the earlier you have it  the longer you have to look at all the baby stuff and still have to wait for baby lol .. so what ever works for you do that (:

I would say around 4-5 months you can start planning. Majority of people have theirs when they turn 7 months. So planning ahead is always good.
