Help!! I am 27 weeks pregnant and my 13 yearold daughter and I just grouted our shower tile.. Our hands were full of grout for at least 2 hours.. I'm very concerned about her and baby!!!

Thanks I feel a little better now! We were having a hard time and ended up using our hands to put the grout on the wall, they were raw by the time we were done. Then my husband came home and read the warning label..  Hopefully it will be fine..

I helped my husband doing the tile in our bathroom around 17ish weeks pregnant, I'm not 28 weeks and nothing is wrong with baby girl. I didn't even think about it possibly being harmful...

Thanks, I work with a fam practice dr In the am, I will check with him, i've just been really worried now and can't sleep. wish I would have seen the warning label before we started..

Hmmm.... I'm not sure but I think since it was for such a short amount of time that you should be ok. But if you are concerned call your doctor first thing in the morning and ask them. Maybe you can even convince them to give you an ultrasound for peace of mind!

inside.. The bag says something about carcinogens which I didn't see when we started..

It shouldn't have any harmful side effects. The only thing I would be concerned about is if you pulled up the pre-existing flooring since vinyl and the like can have lead in it. Did you mix the grout inside or out?
