Are you or are you not circumsizing your baby boy? -And why...

I'm not even though his daddy wants him to be. It feels un-necessary like cropping a dogs tail or ears for preference. It also makes their private parts less or more sensitive and takes an inch off of size once he's full grown. I don't believe God built penis's wrong and now we need to fix em. My baby boy is keeping his full penis thank-you very much!

stefani2013- a tonsilectomy is by far a bigger procedure than a curcumsision. But if it wasnt, id want that done too, I had to have mine out when I was 5 bc of major complications.

My baby brother was born a premie so they weren't able to circumcise him when he was born and you have a lot of cleaning and you have to e very careful then ended up circumcising him when he was 1 and poor baby was in pain. I had my son have his done when he was born its a lot easier an i personally don't know any guy who hasn't been curcumsized.

I will be expecting my first child, a boy, in January and my boyfriend and i didnt even need to have a discussion about it. We will be getting him circumsized, because of the risk of infections later on in life. Speak with your significant other about it and choose what YOU as a mother think is best for your child, because ultimately thats what matters.
For us, the pros just seemed to outweigh the cons.

The doctor I work with decided not to circumsize her son. He is now 5 and has had numerous infections. She had him circumsized at 5 years old due to reoccuring infections & he had a painful recovery. It's a lot easier to circumsize your son when they're younger. My son will be circumsized because my fiance & I spoke about the pros & cons. I don't have a penis so I felt I really couldn't fully make that judgment alone lol

We are definitely circumsizing our son. I brought it up to my husband when we found out its a boy and be both agreed without discussion that he will be snipped. I've heard a lot people I know who had to take their sons in to do it later and it was pure torture. Plus the humiliation growing up and encounters with girls. I think they look so awful uncut it reminds me of those squishy tube toys with Sprinkles inside eww.

I didn't read everyones comments because a lot of people have different opinions, I just thought id leave you with mine. Ive been with a mere 7 people my whole life, and looking back, not any of them have been circumsized. I'm not sure what I'm having and me and baby daddy have not talked about it but he isn't circumsized so I don't find it to be a problem. They say to do what daddy has done. Maybe where I'm from, it isn't common?
