I've never felt so bad before.

I smoked pot through-out my pregnancy but recently quit cause I know how wrong it is... & I would never jeprodize losing my son over some pot... But now I'm going on day two of not eating cause I have no appetite.. I began smoking because I had to overcome a really bad eating disorder. I had trained my body not to need food.. I can't stop crying because I feel like I'm depriving my son of food now.. Is there anything that can increase appetite? I feel like I can't do anything right for him.. & he's not even here yet..

Does your doctor know you take 2 ? Like is that alright ? & I'll try to get some fruit and see if I can stomach it. Thank you girls!

I understand how insanely difficult it is to be pregnant with a history of eating disorders. I suffered for a decade with anorexia and my pregnancy hasn't helped. Want helps me is knowing babies ate resilient my Dr assured me that baby is taking the nutrients it needs before I can even get them. I also eat healthily all throughout the day. I'm mostly just comfortable with fruit so I consistently eat that. Find a safe food. If you're still worried about baby consider adding ensure plus throughout the day. I also take 2 prenatal vitamins to be safe.

I've been depending on my prenatals, hoping they're giving my little man what he needs.. I've spoken to two different doctors all they said was quit smoking and your appetite will come. But before I started smoking I could go three days with out eating. & force two pieces of toast down on the third day late at night.

Don't know how to increase your appetite,  but make sure you're taking your prenatals so baby is getting some nutrients.

Be honest with your doctor. He/she will likely have a solution and may monitor your baby a little closer. Honesty is very important when it comes to pregnancy.  The important thing is you quit now. Habits are hard to kick and I'm sure pregnancy only makes it harder. Kudos to you for quitting!

I had a couple glasses of wine before I knew i was pregnant. It was so hard to tell my doctor, but she assured me it was fine. She said for all we know a study could come out tomorrow claiming wine is good for babies. Lol
