Update on Tyler (TJ) from my appointment on 6/13!

Ok, so I went in on Friday (yesterday) for my appointment. and in the last 2 weeks I've only gained .4 lbs, totalling 7.9lbs of weight gain.
I found out my results on my Glucose 1 hr test.- I PASSED. YAY

We had a U/S and the tech took measurements of EVERYTHING. They also had the Cardiac specialist come in to check for himself to see how things look  (they're keeping an eye on his heart because it's still developing and they wanna make sure that no new problems arise.)  Well, his heart looks good thus far!

I forgot how long they said he is. I think it was 13-14 inches. BUT they estimated his weight at 2Lbs 2 Oz.! YAY! he's a big boy already!. For those of you who don't know, I'm 27 weeks today.

Then after the U/S Tyler decided to kick mommy for the whole 1/2 hr. we waited to see the doctor.
The doctor FINALLY gave me a Corticosteroidal cream for my legs to help with the inflamation of my skin. just a %1 solution, which should prevent blistering. and I'm waiting for the PER to come thru so my pharmacy can fill it.

He also told me to stick to the Pepcid AC 20mg. 2X a day I've been taking and to add Calcium antacids to it for breakthru heartburn.

And FINALLY> I asked him how I'm measuring, and he said my uterus measures a TINY bit small, but thats normal, esp. for a first time pregnancy.  I also asked if my weight gain thus far was ok. he said Normal weight gain for 2/3 of the way thru pregnancy was about 12-15lbs for someone my height and weight I started at. So I'm a bit below average. but he did tell me that as long as I eat as often as possible as much as possible without making myself sick that I'ts fine, esp. since TJ is growing right on target.

I go back in 2 weeks for another appointment and in 1 month I go for another U/S.  So all is good!

Thnx... it's very reassuring to hear the doctors be happy about how he's doing! And it's even more awesome now to be able to watch my tummy move as he kicks and rolls! (The OB U/S tech said I have an Anterior Placenta) I guess that explains alot as to why I didn't get TRUE kicks til just past 23 weeks...

BTW, last night "daddy" had his hand on my tummy after I asked if he wanted to feel TJ pushing out on my belly. (he hadn't been kicking hard, just pushing alot) I had my hand on top of his so I could show him how hard to press, and TJ kicked him SO hard that I felt it thru his hand. His eyes got HUGE and he got this shocked/awe look on his face and grinned... I asked "Did you feel him kick?" and he said Yes, then I said "Did you think he'd kick so hard"... he said NO! and started laughing!

TJ has spent the last two days pushing his feet into my ribs! (just a sec ago I got to experience the CREEPY sensation of his foot sliding under a rib.... ewwww....)
