Crisis in my life... Need to Vent..

Ugh so back in August 09( couple weeks before I got pregnant) me and my fiancee moved into our first apartment together.  So we decided to have some friends over and celebrate.  Well things got out of control, and we got a really drunk and stupid.  My fiancee got a DUI and I got my second MIP.  We went to court (the day they say I conceived lol) and there wasn't a good outcome.  My Fiancee had over 2000 dollars in fines and I had 900 dollars in fines.  We also had to pay 360 dollars to see a councilor for drinking.  And 50 buck for some stupid driving impact class.  We got 6 months probation and both of our licenses taken away for 3 months.  Well He got his back in November and I just got mine back last month.  Which was another 300 dollars.  All that on top of just getting our new apartment.  Then in November I lost my job, So it was just my Fiancee paying on all that and the apartment and food and everything else.  He makes enough so we weren't like starving. But it would have been nice to have all that extra money.  And on top of all that stress, I found out I was pregnant a couple weeks after court.  So we didn't even have a chance to be okay with it, cause of everything else that was going on.  So any way.  We finally got all that taken care of, were done with fines and probation and everything. Even though we are now living at my mothers till we can get a two bedroom for the baby.  I'm due in 2 and half months or 3.  Anytime then.  So everything was finally gonna be okay. And last night we were so happy.  Then today my fiancee has to go to a drivers reexamination cause he has too many points on his license.  And they took his license away till July.  So now we have to figure out how he is gonna get to work everyday.  He says hell just drive, but I'm so terrified of that. Cops love his vehicle, they pull him over all the time.  Not to mention Ive been with out a car for 3 months now, due lack of owe too much money on it. I missed my car.  Today I finally got the money to go get it and go baby shopping and get a hair cut and do fun stuff.. And now I cant even be happy or excited cause I'm too depressed about this and so worried of the out come for the next 6 months.  Everything bad that can happen always happens to us.  We should be the happiest right now.  But we cant cause were always getting screwed over by this piece of crap state, Know as the crappy STATE OF F-ING MICHIGAN. I hate this place. Maybe we should just move to Florida like my fiancee wants to.  Sorry I just needed to get it all out. Thanks for listening

Ugh thanks guys for commenting on that.  and yea I  could drive him to and from work but that would get so expensive he works about and hour away from where we live, so that would be like 4 hours of driving a day. (not that I have anything better to do lol) but no he does have a co worker that lives a couple blocks a way, we know her and hes the one that got her the job there as there assistant.  So shes gonna pick him up when she can.  But if she cant sometimes I guess I got to, and no we don't have any taxi's we live in a real small town we have dial a ride lol but they don't go out of town.  Michigan is a horrible place to live and I would love to live in Florida but Michigan is all Ive ever known.  And I don't know a single person in Florida. But we are going to visit his family after the baby is born this summer so who knows maybe I just wont come back. lol

It's understandable that you are so frusterated.  Just to make a suggestion, could you drive DF to and from work until he gets his license back?  That would eliminate the risk of him getting caught and inevitably arrested for driving on a revoked license.  They won't go easy on him becuase he has other traffic related incidences.  It's hard to have one vehicle but if you are staying home it could work.  It would relieve a lot of the stress on you.  Has he thought about petitioning the court for a restricted license so he can drive to and from work.  Being as you are pregnant and he is the sole provider he might have a chance of getting it.

im sorry hun..ugh i hate the way our justice system works sometimes...it probably would be best if you take him to work or he finds another way though. just cause if he did get pulled over that would triple your problem. im the same way..cops love my car i dunno why. florida is awesome though...maybe when you do visit you'll be able to make a for sure decision whether or not you wanna stay. that would be so hard being away from family..family is what im leaning on right now. but you would make a whole new group of friends (us southerners are pretty bad *** haha) but who knows..whatever happens your soon gonna have your baby in your arms and nothing else will matter.

Oh sweetie that ***** so bad...:(. I think the court system punishes for the wrong things..I mean yes, DUI needs to be punished, but idk they don't punish serious crimes harshly enough by comparison!!! FL is awesome, just to add..I love it here with all my heart :D (the part of my heart not owned by my babies and my husband LOL). Can you drive him back and forth for now using his car? How far are you...are taxis an option???

I am sorry you're going through all of this and I hope that you can come up with a solution :(.  Maybe he can carpool with a coworker??

just want to say I still think you should go out....you probably really need it now more than ever.
