I think it really depends on whether you and baby are ready for a night apart. My son is 11 months old and has never stayed anywhere overnight and only been babysat for 4-5 hours at the most. He had colic and became very attached to me and hubby, though. Idk when we'll be ready for him to stay somewhere over night lol we're 23+4 with our daughter so I guess we better do it soon. No nights alone any time in our near future if not lol

I woukdnt book it until you have had your baby andhave a better feel about how you and the baby will do apart.   I know I personally couldnt have left my daughter at that age.  But there is nothing wrong with it.  Its just how I felt.

I got pregnant on my last cruise..it was kinda planned... 20 +2 due may 26... we left our 3 kids with grandparents and had a blast in the bahamas.. I highly recommend a trusted sitter, youll be able to let loose and enjoy the trip. I felt bad leaving them behind but glad I did.

Yea that wat I was thinking too the safest place would be with our parents or his my best friend which will be his Godmom I think I'll feel more relaxed & be able to have fun not thinking of crazy things happening with my baby on a boat

I would say that at 6 months, if you could find a trusted person to care for him, you should go without the baby & have a blast! Cruise ships have a notorious history for having stomach bugs & for a baby he might actually be better off somewhere else, but not necessarily. I have 2 kids already & takes a lot of packing for a lil guy* Might be a nice break for you to let loose & have some fun..

I would personally wait until the baby had all his shots and recovered from them before I took him out into the ocean with you. But that's just me. A cruise sounds fun! I've never been on one.
