prenatal vitamins

I read some where that taking prenatal vitamins when you are trying to conceive is a good idea. Anybody know anything about this? I'm really hoping this month is the month! Throw some baby dust my way!

yeah prenatal vit is very to take when ttc, My doctor told me to take prenatal & 1mg of folic acid & that's what I do, but instead of taking prenatal, I take Geritol which is kind of the same, they have more vitamins & ingredrients in them.

My Dr. recommends it. Folic acid is good when TTC she says......I've also read the same thing on several sites. Good Luck!

My Doc actually told me that if you take a regular multi vitamin until you get prego it's just as good and they won't make you gain unnecessary weight

Hey, I have also heard the same thing. They say that the folic acid helps and if nothing else it's the one supplement that you should take. I just had a late term miscarriage and I'm trying to get pregnant again, I won't take pre-natals because they make me constipated but I will take the folic acid.. Good Luck!

yes very goog idear and for 3 month befor you conceve make sure they have folic acid to help pervent birth defects baby dust to you
