My OBGYN tells me thats the ONLY thing u can use for pain in my back and butt....
I have done it all the time even on my belly no matter how far along. Your baby won't die from warmth.
I just did an internet search and most sites say that obstetricians say it is okay. But ladies here say no. So, maybe ask your doctor. Does your office have a call number where you can call a nurse and ask on Monday??
I would say no just to be safe bc thats what ive read on here but im not really sure ive never actually asked my doctor
Its not recommended because it can cause the baby's body temp to rise. Its in the same class as not to be submerged in a hot tub ..anything that can cause your body temp to rise can cause they baby's body temp to rise.
This is just a guess, but I would think so. I had a coworker that came to work with a heating pad and for the same reason. She said it helped her sit more comfortably.
I guess since I don't know for sure, I'd wait to see what other responses you get but I'd go with an 'it's alright' just off the top of my head.
hope you feel better soon.
