Just take it easy and relax. I know it's hard to do. But atleast baby was fine. Once you relax awhile the contractions may slow down. But like the above poster said, you are only 2 weeks away from being considred full term so even if baby were to come in the next few days, so baby has an excellant chance of not having any major problems. Good luck. Keep us posted on how things are going.
I hope they don't get worse and baby stays in a few more weeks! But if he doesn't you're 35 weeks and that's not that early to deliver. Keep us updated!
thanks all but unfortunetly I feel todaii on some ice I called my OB she sent me to the hospital for a none stress test thank god my baby is fine but I'm having contractions so they sent me home and I have to go back when they worsen
If the baby dropped then he is creating more pressure on the nerves in your lower half. That explains the pain your feel in your legs when sitting. The BHC are normal so long as they aren't coming in a pattern or too close together. You could very well be dialating right now but that does not necessarily mean you are going into labor soon. I've known women who were up to 3 cm as early as 31 weeks and then had to be induced or went on their own closer to their due date. I agree with everything Ashelen said as well. BUT if you are concerned it's always best to call your doc. When was the last time you had a check up and when are you scheduled again? If it's in the next few days it can wait until then, if not give him/her a call and express your concerns. Are you still feeling baby move? It's important to stay in tune to baby's movements, a sudden decrease can signal something is wrong and you need to call right away. What you have described, as Ashelen said, sounds normal for your stage of pregnancy. Especially since you are young. But as I said before, anytime you are concerned, call you doc...that is what they are there for.
I would call the doctor if I were you.
that sounds like right on target for 35wks to me! all the pressure and the pinching is probably due to his head being almost engaged with your cervix. the feeling you described during urination is not that out of the ordinary and most likely was just the baby pushing on your bladder and squeezing some more out. when you feel the pinching in your cervix or tingling, try and put your feet up and lean back to take the majority of your sitting weight off of your cervical area, and try walking a short distance when the pressure gets uncomfortable.... it helps realign the baby in your pelvis and can help with blood circulation and discomfort.
even having said that, i still would recommend that you call your OB and ask these questions...they may want to bring you in and check you. very often women under 18 or 19 don't go fully to 40 weeks and tend to deliver closer to 37 so your baby may be getting ready in the next few weeks and they'll want to check...so give 'em a call and see what they say :)
just adding last week he also dropped
