GB can cause high birth weight in baby, excess insulin, Hypoglycemia in a newborn, and a whole mess of problems. Iron is also something you don't mess around with. You need to be taking Iron supplements if yours is low. It can lead to stillbirth, low birth weight, and preterm delivery. Not to mention it destroys your own body.
How is it going to effect the baby?
Lol Anwright you got of lucky, I just did the test your talking about, I had 3 seperate blood tests, they took 5 vials of blood all up. It was a nasty business :-/ I wish all I had to do was pee in a cup. I only had to take a small bottle of that yucky stuff once only at the start. When I first got there I had blood taken then drank that glucose drink, waited an hour, had another blood test waited another hour then had another blood test. I tell you I never left a place soooo fast, I went home and crashed for the rest of the day.
Yes I had the same thing. And let me tell you it ***** mine was ok I did not have it but the hole thing is scary. You will be fasting for 16 hours all together they say it is a 3 hour test but it is a 4 hour test. You fast for 12 hours before you go then you take blood as soon as you get there and pee in a cup. Then you drink that stuff and every hour for 3 hours they take your blood and you pee in a cup. You can not eat the hole time I was so sick of it by the end. Just know even if you do have it that is not the end of the world my friend has it and as long as you are willing to change your diet and eat well rounded meals you will not have to get shots so good luck let me know how it turns out. Good luck and you will not know your test results that day I thought you would but they know the next day....
