what do contractions feel like?

37 +3 ftm, never even had a braxton hick. Wondering what they feel like, and what real contractions feel like... Where do you feel them?

I didn't realize what a braxton hick felt like until my last dr app where he pointed it out. All I noticed was that my stomach got very, very hard and it felt like there was a bit of pressure. He also showed me how it softens back up by relaxing. It was crazyy haha

The app tells you the difference between cramps, false labor, Braxton hicks, and contractions if you look under symptoms :)

This is my first baby, and like everyone says u will know when u have them! Mine were more mild not where I had to go to the hospital or anything!
It's just super uncomfortable and it creates pain!

People can feel them in different places! But I'm 38+3 weeks and felt some a few days ago. For me my stomach got really tight and really uncomfortable pain in my lower back, and upper thighs!

Braxton hicks is what I have now. It's a tightening feeling in your whole stomach that only last for a few seconds. Real contractions gradually get worse
