Something on my cervix?

I posted this in womens health as well.. I'm not sure how much traffic goes through there... but here goes...

I found a small lump on my cervix this morning about the size sea salt. I'm not sure what it could be. I believe I am ovulating right now last period was July 31st... It doesn't hurt but I am not about to stick my finger in there too often. I don't want to irritate anything....

Anyone have an idea what that could be? It was hard and near the opening... I'm a tad bit worried to BD with DH until I know what it is... or an idea of it... Thank You..

sounds like Nabothian cysts more common than you thin Ive had them, nothing to worry about.they tend to come and go through out your cycle.

Sea salt sized are normal for alot of women I had them too before my leep and I cannot remember what the doctor called them but they are harmless so go ahead and bed and the best of luck to you!

agree with above advice, see your dr about any lumps anywhere. could be nothing but it's always better to be safe rather than sorry.

I don't have any experience with this at all, but I wanted to say if it's bothering you, you should definitely call your doc. They can better examine you and tell you what it may be. Hopefully it's nothing, but better to be on the safe side! Good luck!
