My midwife recommended eating a few crackers before getting up from sleeping or a nap. And to smell lemons. Didn't stop me from getting nauseous or vomiting but helped reduce it. And I had morning sickness really bad it got to the point where I couldn't keep anything down and I would get scared to eat because I would just throw it up. Also having small meals and snacks through out the day helped me out and keeping it healthy and not greasy helped out too

I ate food all threwout the night. If I waited till morning, I would be starving and that alone seemed to cause morning sickness. Eat small bland snacks as much as possible and gingerale became my savior and I didn't even like it before I became pregnant! Good luck!
