I met my honey at the Mall.  I was with my then boyfriend and he was with my best friend. My boyfriend at the time and I were not getting along and broke up a few days later. My hubby (Justin) found out that we broke up and called me to go out. Our first date was 04-04-04 and he is the best thing that has ever happend to me. We were married May 19,2007 and I bet you cant guess what my lucky number is.

We always joke that we met at the local bar which is referred to as "pick-a-pig", a bar that neither one of us frequented very often. What actually happened was my cousin was there with some of his friends and introduced me to them all(not my normal stomping grounds). The next Sat saw him at "the bar" (where we normally went) and he was pretty drunk and i thought he was a jerk. The next weeken my cousin was out again and i hung out with his friends again. Chad ended up walking me back to my friends house, and we fought the whole way there. and i knew that if i went out with this guy it would be the end of me being single...and i didn't want that. I loved being single. So i tried to get him out of my head, even tried to like his friend...but his work was right behind mine...he was in my head all day every day....so i gave in and called him...met up with him at hte bar that weekend, went home with him and that was it (and no i didn't sleep with him that night). We started seeing each other but didn't tell people for a few weeks. People were Shocked! We are both very quiet and they wanted to know if we actually talked..lol. 3 months later he told me he was gonna marry me (I already knew this but didn't want to scare him off) waited just over a year for my ring, we already had the wedding booked, and got married shortly after our 2 yr anniversery.

I met my husband at Mardi Gras! Woo hoo! Okay, we were there on a missions trip. Our churches worked together. I actually thought he lived down south and I thought he was 25 (he was 17). He was the worship leader for the trip and the moment he opened his mouth to sing I was smitten!!!

We didn't actually start talking until a couple months after getting home. Apparently one of my roomies had taken his phone number and invited him to our dorm house. I was SHOCKED! We got to talking and one night we were at a friend's house he told us he had a song he wrote for his future wife.

Everyone kept bugging him to sing it... except me. For some reason it really bothered me and gave me butterflies (this was before we officially got together). He ended up singing and while he sang it I KNEW HE WAS MINE!

After we got together I found an old prayer journal of mine. In one entry in February 2002 I wrote, "Something BIG is going to happen in two years." I knew God would bring THE ONE for me but I was afraid someone would find my journal so I wrote it like that in a sort-of code. But I completely forgot about that in two years time.

I met my husband TO DATE two years after I wrote that in my prayer journal. There were other prophetic confirmation (basically God told us we were meant for one another).

i met mine while with my ex-fiance.....ex was a marine, and we were looking 4 an apt, but socal is exp so he knew a navy guy who needed an apt as well.....well, my ex went to yuma for training, and we started having probs(and found he had a baby while on  usmc medivac in germany w/an AF woman!!!).....so chr*s started bringing my roomie home, cos it was 2 much gas in my truck vs his honda...and for a month, i had no idea who he was cos 1 day my roomie would say chr*s, the next day he'd call him by his last name(i never knew "they" were the same guy!)

so to end this lol, i had a party when a friend in fresno  cam down, and we were celebrating singledom, when my rooomie said he'd invited him for my friend...well, they hated each other on contact, and she had a *friend* coming, so he and i hung out, and he CLEANED MY HOUSE! so we've been 2gether ever since! he has 2 kids, and in december we'll have *our* 1st together!!! there was acohol involved and i always quote the eminem song "guilty concious", however i replace the slip trip part with my *drinks* lol!!!!! i know its bad, but it makes sense to all of us there lol

It was at a news years party and Cayce and I just clicked. We were both with different people at the time but that didn't matter. We stayed up the entire night after everyone went to bed talking and exchanging life stories and laughing, etc. The next morning we left together (leaving our other partners behind) and we moved in together THAT DAY!

We have been together ever since..

Well I met my husband in the 3rd grade :)  We were both in the same class and we knew each other for years, but never really hung out.  In the 8th grade we both went to a youth group event at a local church and ended up playing ping pong together.  The next week our school went on a field trip to Atlanta and he asked me to be his girlfriend in mcdonalds...lol After I told him the proper way to ask me I said yes.  We went to the 8th grade prom together limo and all but he was soooo nice I broke up with him a few weeks later.  He pretty much hated me for the next 4 years and i gave birth to my son.  When my son was about 3 months old a bunch of us went to a third day concert and went to subway on the way home.  Someone decided he should ride back with me so we had a very uncomfortble ride home....about 3 month later when my son was 6 months old in October of 2004 I ran into him at the food lion were he worked, he got my number, called me 3 days later and asked me to go to church with him.  We have been together ever since. We got married on May 26th 2006 and will be married for 2 years next month.  Oh and we are about to get our own ping pong table  :)

I still think about the guy I was with from 7th grade until alittle after my senior year. My first love, I guess. He still tugs at my heart but that's a whole other issue in and of itself!

haha....My husband says he wanted to marry me when we dated in 8th grade..lol that was the last thing on my mind but I guess God had it all planned out...it's been a fun ride...we got to go to senior prom together also because he was still in 12th grade when we got back together.  Hopefully we will have a baby to add to the fun soon.  :)

ok rachie, i soooooo thought i'd marry my boyfriend from 3rd grade and our moms thought so also....we broke up(lol if you'd call it that) and i beat him up in my front yard twice the same week(we still laugh about it!).....we dated again but in high school he got married and had twins w/another girl...we're friends but now i'm glad i'm not married to him!!!

wild.blue---girl, i've done that! kinda...i met my exhub online, talked for a year, met him on thursday face to face on november 4, 2006 married him 2 days later nov 6th....we got divorced on dec 3rd lol.....now i call myself a proud *auntie* to his ex's son, whom he is a deadbeat father too! now i just wish she'd give me her address so i could *help out* every once in a while!!!

i met my husband at the 2004 easter show. i was there with my friends and i ran into a friend of my ex's (who my husband was with) he was wearing a long red wig and a scottish hat (looking like a total freak lol) anyway he pulled out a kiss lolly out of a showbag he had and i gave him a kiss in return.

after that we didnt see each other for about 2 and a half months when i set him up with one of my friends they dated for a week and the moment they broke up we were together.

we moved in together 10 months later engaged 3 months after that and then married 11 months later. we will be celebrating our 2 wedding anniversary on the 8th of july and our baby is due the 28th of august.

I had been talking to this guy Mik on aol.  He was in the navy and stationed 2 hours from where I was.  We finally made plans to meet, he was gonna drive the two hours to where I was and we set it up to meet at a park.  I had my best friend go with me and I had my then about to turn 3 yo.  

So he calls me from the interstate to get directions to the park and he keeps saying "we" and "us" ...things like "ok where do WE turn at?"  I had no idea he was bringing someone so I started to think he had multiple personalities LOL.  Anyway, theys how up, he had brought his buddy, Joe,  for company on the ride.  Immediately me and Best friend start talking about how cute his buddy was. LOL Well this buddy was VERY quiet, barely said anything past Hi!.  Mik on the other hand couldn't shut up about his truck...how mommy and daddy paid for this or that.  Meanwhile his buddy, Joe, had taken to my little girl and was playing with her...she was having the time of her life and he seemed like he just "fit" being there with her.  

So we decide to go to pizza hut.  While we're sitting there, every time Mik wasn't looking his buddy would start screwing around blowing kisses and sticking his tongue out.  The guys ended up buying mine and alex's and my best friends food which I thought was very sweet.  So we all go back to my place and just hung out, watched movies, bs'd.  It got late so I told em they could just crash there.  This was July 3rd, 99. The next day my best friend had to go home so my 2yo and i rode back to the base with them so his buddy could get his car.  Then we drove back in that.  They went with me to take my daughter to see the fire works on the 4th.  Joe put her on his shoulders so she could see better, bought her a snow cone.  

We spent that night sitting on my porch steps talking for hours.  We spent a lot of time over the next couple of weeks seeing each other..I would drive there and stay in the barracks room with him (oops what a no no) or he would drive to my place on the weekends.  He came down for my daughters 3rd bday on the 18th and on the 20th we "eloped".  We got married by the JOP in the city he was stationed in and didn't tell a single soul until AFTERWARDS.  2 weeks after that we were living together and save for some rocky periods we've been together ever since.  

His buddy was rather pissed that we hooked up...but we saw him a few years ago and he had a wife and was happy.  No one can call me a gold digger...I took the guy from Georgia who barely had ANYTHING to his name and came from a poor family over the guy who came from a wealthy family who's parents paid for anything he wanted.  LOL

I wouldn't change it for the world.

I met my honey at my job.  I worked in an office with about 15 girls.  His ex wife use to work there and he was there visiting some of the girls he knew.  Well, I just so happened to go into work a lil early and when I walked in I see this amazing looking guy in his BDU's, but of course I acted NOT interested.  As soon as I entered the other room all the girls were drooling and saying how badly they wanted to get to know him.  One of the girls told me.."girl you just missed him show his nipple piercing."  I told them it was ok because I would see them up close and personal one day.  As soon as I said that my sister, which worked there too and knew him and his ex-wife, ran up to me and dranged me into her office.  She told me, "that's the guy I was telling you about a couple of months ago.".  Well, she ran into the ex-wife at a club and she was with another man and said that her and Josh got divorced.  I remember my sister telling me about him.  Telling me how sweet and good looking he was. Well, before I got to work that day he was in her office and she was telling him about me and showed him the most horrible picture of me ever.  Well, me and my sis went out to smoke before I got started on my work and he comes walking out.  I started to get all nervous.  We started talking and he got my number and said he would call me sometime.  He gave me a hug before he left and his arms were sooo nice and he smelled so good.  Well, about 2 hours later I get a phone call at my job and it was him.  HE said, "hey, I'm passing by do you need anything from the store?" I told him that I was good and he said, "well, really I was looking for an excuse to stop by and see you again."...I just thought that was soo sweet and told him he could stop by and I would take a small break.  Well, he had his cousin with him and we all just sat there talking.  I think he was just wanting his cousin to see me (you know how men are).  Well, later on that night I get home from work and he calls me and we talked on the phone for 5 hours.  IT never went silent.  We had so much in common, it was so crazy.  Both of us had been previously married and our divorces were finally only 6 days apart.  He got deployed to Iraq and his ex-wife sent him divorce papers while he was there.  She had been cheating on him.  Well, my ex-husband was also in the military and he got deployed about the same time.  My husband at the time sent me a camera to get developed and he obviously sent me the wrong one because it was of him and some chick, so he had been cheating on me.  Anyway, the day after I met Josh "my NOW hubby" and we talked on the phone for 5 hours, we went on our first date the next day.  I went into work telling all the girls I was gonna marry him someday.  We moved in with eachother that night, engaged 8 days later, married 3 months later and now 4 years later we have our first baby on the way.  Isn't love a crazy thing.  Sometimes you just know!!!!!

Me and my husband met on Yahoo! Personals. I know some people say internet dating doesn’t work, but it did for us. But me and my husband were destined to be together. Yahoo! was just the medium.

We met for the first time in September 2001. We had dinner and talked for hours that night. I don’t think I got home until 3am. We talked about everything ! It was very pleasant and he never once tried to get in my pants! We had one more date after that. We went to the movies and saw Monsters Inc. After that we just sort of lost contact. It was me more so than him. I had only been out of a serious relationship for two months when I met my DH. I just wasn’t ready for a commitment and after our conversations, I realized he was. I couldn’t put him or myself through that. I wasn’t looking for a rebounded. Eventually the calls stopped.

Then in October 2002, I couldn’t get this man off my mind. After all that time, I had deleted all forms of contact. I had no number and couldn’t even remember his user name on Yahoo! Just weeks of him running through my mind, I got an IM. My heart skipped several beats. It seams after a year he couldn’t get me off his mind either. There was a street that he passed every time he went to town that shared my name. He just couldn’t get away from me…..lol  We started talking again and I even stood him up once because I was so nervous. Finally, I went to meet him a “Boo at the Zoo.” I had my two oldest with me and he had his niece. The thing is I got stuck in traffic and didn’t get there on time. We both spent the night with our kiddos in tow, but never crossed each others paths. I was very disappointed because I was sooooo ready for this.

Finally, In April 2003 we met up. We spent A LOT of time together. Just about every weekend. Poor guy, it still took him almost a year to get me to commit to a relationship. He was VERY patient. God bless him, I would have given up on me a long time ago…lol. He proposed to me Valentines 2004 and I told him I wasn’t ready. It was around April 2004 before I ever let him into my “secret garden” if you know what I mean. We moved in together that same month and decided to start trying for a “cootie”. In August the stress of a ready made family, bills and a long commute to work started getting to him. He moved back home to where he’d be closer to work. I thought we were through. Turns out I had in fact caught his “cootie” in September 2004. We had our son, his first born May 16, 2005.

On November 8, 2005, I lost my Father to cancer. I really wanted my Daddy to walk me down the isle. Unfortunately, he passed four days before I married my one true love on November 12, 2005. Daniel, was 6 months old. This Nov we will be married for three years. I made this poor man work for my love. I had never done that before. He definitely proved himself worthy. We are expecting a “Daddy’s girl” May 30, 2008.

I actually met my honey in 6th grade! lol He was the tallest kid in the class, and the biggest class clown. I guess I used to like him back then too, but I don't remember. We knew each other, but never really talked.

Then 9th grade hit and I saw more and more of him because his best friend rode the same bus as me and he would ride it home with him. Still...no real attraction, I kinda liked his friend haha. Well when 10th grade(04) came around, I really started to like him, but never thought he liked me. His best friend, Jordan liked me and decided to ask me out. Well that lasted two weeks because I saw how horrible he treated Steven(my honey). So I dumped his ***.

A couple months later I was with someone long distance off and on. Steven liked me but thought I was taken. He asked my best friend out and dated her for five months. She cheated on him like 4 times with different guys. I was pissed at her so I told him. Well they were done and he was staying away from girls. He lost his virginity to her. I would say this all took place in summer of 05. Well we all remained friends. I was with the long distance guy, but unhappy. I broke it off with him in October and started talking to Steven more and more. He made me nervous whenever I was around him, I was always getting butterflies. I was SO in love lol. The homecoming dance was coming up and I REALLY wanted to go with him, but I knew he probably didn't like dances, what guy does? So at the end of October I decided I would ask him myself! I went up to the classroom he hung out in at lunch with Jordan (the ROTC building) and asked Jordan to have Steven come outside. Well when he came outside I just blurted "Stevenwouldyouliketogotohomecomingwithme?!" He just shrugged and said sure. I was FREAKED. We made plans for him to pick me up and go to dinner with my friend (his ex) and her then boyfriend. Well he showed up in his ROTC uniform and I was practically drooling. Off to Red Lobster we went and had a nice dinner. He was acting kind of strange and went to the bathroom a few times, and he hardly ate his dinner. I shrugged it off as him not being hungry and we went to the dance. Oh man that was a great time. A friend of ours came up and snaped a picture of us on her disposable camera. We danced and talked and held hands. Gosh...I was just...in heaven that night.

That was Nov 2, 05. A few days after Jordan told me Steven wanted to ask me out, but was nervous about it. Naturally I was like TELL HIM TO DO IT RIGHT NOW, HELL YEAH I'D SAY YES! But he never did...so I told him that he had until friday to ask me out, other then that I would say no because I wasn't waiting around for him haha. So Friday afternoon we were on our way home on the bus. I was sitting next to him and he just looked awkward and nervous. He pulled out a piece of paper and scribbled on it right before our stop. He handed it to me and I opened it. "Will you go out with me?'' was all it said. I just nodded at him and hugged him. We got off the bus and I gave him a kiss goodbye and walked home.

We've been together ever since Nov 11 05. We have been through A LOT. Many break ups (about stupid things) and a pregnancy/miscarriage. Right around our 2nd anniversary/ 2 months after the miscarriage we decided to get rings for each other. I still wear it today and so does he. We get congradulated on them lol. People think were engaged, although he never really "proposed" but I know we'll get married soon enough. I love him with all my heart and I couldn't imagine my life without him...

Oh yeah. He later revealed to me that he was sick on homecoming night but didnt want to cancel with me so he went anyways. He was in the bathroom throwing up, which explains the whole not eating thing. And the picture his friend took of us that night is framed in my room as our first picture together. He gave it to me for our first valentines day gift.

my best friend through grade school had moved away my 7th grade year...we kept in touch every now and then and her family decided to move back here the beginning of my 9th grade year.......christmas break i was supposed to have a sleep over at her house, but unfortunatly that didn't happen......a week later school was back in session and my first day back i saw this really cute guy sitting in the office , he was new so i knew that he was getting enrolled.....i snuck past him in the office and went straight to the assistant principals office and pretended like i had a bad migrain so she would offer to give me some tylenol...on my way back out we kinda stared (sp.) each other down....as quickly as i could pass the corner of the office i ran down the hall to my bff's classroom and asked if i could speak with her.....i told her i saw this really cute guy in the office and was explaining to her what he was wearing and what he looked like.......she stopped me in mid excitement and said "that's my brother".........i was in awe....i knew she had a brother but always thought he was younger since i had never seen him........immediatly after class was over..she met up with him and told him everything i had said......i was very shy so talking to him straight forward was out of the question....as i was walking down the hall he someone came up behind me and grabbed my arm....IT WAS HIM........he had written me a note....he gave it to me and and hurridly went to class.....i stood there for a second as everyone passed by me...after class was over i walked to his door to wait on him to come out and i gave him a note as well.....we walked down the hall to the cafeteria as silently as possible and then his sis found us and practically dragged  me into the restroom......she told me a few things he had said about me and i was exstatic......that night he called me and asked me to go out with him...i immediatly said yes! the next day he came to my house and introduced himself to my parents and grandmother, they all loved him.....we still have all the notes we had written to each other and everything that we have ever bought one another after almost 9 years....we got married just last year and are getting ready to celebrate our 1st anniversary May 5th (wow...less than a week) hadn't realized how close it was until just now!!!

accidently left out the part were i moved in with him the night of my graduation at 17 years old.....he asked me to marry himright before i turned 18......engaged for almost 2 years had set our wedding date for June 23d 2006( before i knew it i was preggo) held off gettiing married because i found out i was preggo, and Dylan was born June 15th, 2006 when Dylan was @ 10 months old we decided to just have something small and were hitched before Dylan's 1st b-day!

My boss introduced us...one day I went to work early for no particular reason and I see my boss speaking to a new-hire. My boss calls me into the office and says "Miko, this is David, David this is Miko. Miko I want you to TRAIN David for this week, and walk him through." I was the first person introduced to him. Its funny because when I first say him I was like "Why do I have to train him!" and he was just loving it. I showed him how to do certain things around the office and he would always just say "Can you show me again?" just because he wanted me around him lol. I miss those days...now we have so many problems ugh its not even funny. But yea, our boss hooked us up!!
