Is Anal sex safe in 3rd trimester (for first timers)?

To start off, I have NEVER Done that before, and I am really embarrased to even ask this... but it's my DH's only request that I let him do... although the idea does nothing for me only.... yuck. lol ok anyway will it hurt that baby IF I let him try?  He has always been gentle, he was the one that took my virginity, and That took 5 or 6 times of doing it little by little over several weekends...

I agree with cnj - you must use lubricant! Glycerin or any over-the-counter stuff should work. I wouldn't use just regular lotion (might irritate you). Tell him to go sloooooooow but once he's in the irritation and discomfort are gone. You have to realize penetration is not going to be pleasant but once he's in there all is bliss. Even if the idea horrifies you... you may find some inner sex kitten you didn't know existed and he's going to think you're one hot, wild woman. Most men find pregnant women VERY sexy. This position might also benefit you if you're far enough along that vaginal sex is uncomfortable or near impossible.

AND as everyone else said - he must clean off before going from anal to vaginal or he could introduce fecal bacteria and cause an infection. Just take precautions and HAVE FUN!

You know I must be different because I enjoy it.  I have to be in the mood first or it does hurt, so go slow.  It is different than vaginal, but I find that I can actually O easier.  Don't psych yourself out and relax...because you never know!

Lube lube lube! I can personally say I let DF do this once or twice and oh my gosh... I must have flipped my lid! LOL.....  Tell him to be extra gentle. The first bm after that didn't feel well for me. I tell ya, it's something you have to get accustomed to I order to enjoy it. Above all though, make sure you relax. If not, it will be bothersome and most likely hurt.

lol I've been saying no for the past 6 years, and  just now thinking about it, and after all it is going to be just a few times, hes one of those men who Wont just shove it in (thank the lord) and yeah I'll have my enjoyment first...I'm one of those who for some reason doesnt get that BIG OH the commercials talk about...I just get Numb all over, so yeah Hopefully I wont feel much... :)

I would certainly say you are brave soul. My hubby's been asking to try that forever and I turn him down flat. lol! If you do go through with it, I hope you at least get some enjoyment out of it.

yes it is safe as long as you dont have vaginal sex after anal without cleaning up first. good luck with that lol brave soul
