My boyfriends parents are trying to be invovled and I understand that to an extent. His dad wanted to go with me to an ultrasound. And him and his mom were so pushy i said fine. But i felt uncomfortable. All i want is my mom and I wish I never got pregnant. I just want them to leave me alone!!!! His mom, always pushy. My family is laid back but now discussing a baby shower is more stress. Because his family wants to throw it and so does mine and Im supposed to be the one to bring them together. I hate attention, im not a planner, and theyre all just pissing me off. I dont know how.to be nice about any of this. Hormones or not, theyre making me regret choosing to keep this child.

I had to learn the hard way that when you try to be and nice and not hurt other peoples feelings is just going to lead to them stepping all over you. And it will probably get worse when your baby is born. Trust me all that matters is what makes you and your boyfriend happy and comfortable! This is your time... Be honest with them and tell them to back off. Have your mom plan the shower and just hand them the invatations.  I went through all of this when I was pregnant with my son. Good luck!

Oh no, sweetly I'm so sorry. I had to deal with my mil who didn't know boundaries at all! I tried being nice ny saying I needed some space and that hubby and I needed to make our own decisions. Just say, I'm super uncomfortable with this in the first place and I really just need everyone to relax.

Well thats sounds unfair to your baby, but maybe just have them get together and figure it out themselves about the babyshower,  everything else if you dont want them there just tell them hun.
