Hi had to comment since I myself ride. I have a 250 ninja. You should not ride on a motorcycle while pregnant at all. You def should not learn to ride while pregnant. Truth is you will drop your bike and fall while learning because that's part of it. Drs will tell you NO! Its dangerous for you and the baby. Good luck and def learn after your pregnancy because there's nothing better than that feeling. :)
Your dr will more than likely say no. But again it just depends on how the pregnancy is going. My husband does the same thing sometimes. The othe day he bought a shrimp boil dinner for 10 at an auction for our local volunteer fire dept knowing that I'm very allergic to shrimp. :/ doesn't make sense but whatever :) he thought I should be happy that he bought this for me. he saw me have an allergic reaction last year and had it not been for half a box of Benadryl I would have ended up in the hospital. It's not that they do it on purpose. They just get caught in the moment and forget :)
I completely agree! And regardless I would never do it, I'm just curious if anyone knows what a Dr might say. Any articles I may be able to show my husband! Personally I'm a little offended he would even be willing to take that chance!!! Trying to approach it calmly though because had I not been pregnant it would've been a very thoughtful gift! Trying my best not to shoot down his good intentions without medical documents/advice to back me up
My only concern would be if you fell. Motorcycles are heavy and I would not want to take the risk of impact from falling but then have an extremely heavy machine fall on top of me as well. I have had several miscarriages and my dr has said no to even riding our riding mower to cut the grass! No go carts 4 wheelers jeeps or anything that may risk me falling or bouncing around too much. But with my son, my first pregnancy, I went fishing off shore and rode tractors and had no issues. He is 3 1/2 and healthy as can be. But if your husband simply doesn't understand maybe have him go to a dr appt with you and let the dr explain why this is a bad idea. My husband thought I was being crazy when my dr told me this time around I'm not even supposed to lift my son in and out of the car until he went to an appt with me and the dr told him the risks of what could happen. So now he takes care of that and if my son is sleeping in the car and my husband isn't home I leave it running and place his baby monitor in there so I can hear when he wakes up. (I don't have a garage so it's just in the drive way in the country) but him taking naps is very rare now days :)
I would say no!!! If u was to wreck or fall off u could seriously be hurt, with a baby inside and u was to hit ur stomach this could be bad!! Im not trying to scare u I'm just being honest! I gotta protect ur belly/baby any way u can!
