My induction

So I'm currently 40+4 and my induction date is tomorrow. I was taking this great up until yesterday when it clicked in my head and became real. I'm a little scared. I heard inductions are 10x worse. I'm hoping to be a trooper and do it all natural with no meds but well see. This forum has helped me a lot so thank you all. Can't wait to hold my little healthy boy tomorrow.

Any tips for tomorrow that I should consider?

Thank you all. :-) hopefully it goes smoothly and have him in a couple hours. With no pain meds. :-) wish me luck. Time to see if I can get some rest.

What foods would be best to eat before hand ladies? Just in case.

Oh maybe 30 or so. It was super easy even the nurses commented on how easy a birth I had. I actually had to stop pushing so the doctor could get there in time which thankfully was only a few minutes.  It kinda worries me for this time around that ill have a long hard labor since my last was soo easy lol here's to hoping I'm wrong lol

Thank you. Hopefully it doesn't take long. And the pain isn't too bad. At my last check up I was still closed so hopefully this week did something. My BH are stronger but not consistent enough to be contractions. :-/ thank you for your story hopefully mine is easy like that. How long did you push for?

Well when I was induced with my first it wasn't bad at all. They put this stuff on my cervix to finish thinning it out and I ended up going into labor on my own after that so it might all depend on what they have to do. I've heard pitocin causes the contractions to hurt worse but I personally didn't need to have it. I also got my epidural pretty early so ended up sleeping through most of the labor itself and had her the next morning.  So see about pain meds as soon as you can if you are going to have them and then just try and rest if you can that way you're not just sitting there anxious for hours and hours. Good luck girl.
