Long drive to the hospital...

I have about an hour and 15 mins drive to the hospital.... I was wondering if I'll be okay to get to the hospital in time to give birth and what first symptoms should give me the ok to leave?

Thanks ladies! I have no Idea what to expect so I wanted to make sure to know at least when to leave for the hospital!! :)

Yeah I would say if your contractions start off pretty close to go to the hospital because that's a long friggin drive!! Our drive is about 35-40 mins and I was 2 to 3 mins apart...I still laboured for a few hours but that was the worst!!

You'll probably want to leave as soon as you know for sure you are laboring....the worst journey of my life was 5mins to the hospital...but my daughter was born 20mins after that! every bump in the road sparked off a contraction...but that labour was particularly quick as it was 4hrs start to finish!
