Lost mucus plug...

Ok ladies, please help! I'm 33 weeks pregnant with my first and today when I went to go pee (tmi) I wiped and noticed a glob of clear/whitish mucus looking thing on my tissue which I'm guessing is my mucus plug. Does it sound like my mucus plug? How long after you ladies lost your mucus plug did you go into labor? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and congrats ladies!

With my first pregnancy i lost mine at 28weeks. I started dialating after. I ended up having my son at 35weeks via emergency c section due to preeclampsia but i never went into labor after losing it.

Thank you ladies for all the input. I haven't been to the Dr in almost 2 weeks so I'm not sure if I'm dilated any. I guess I will call my Dr tomorrow morning just to let him know that I lost my mucus plug. Does make me nervous that I lost my plug on the day of the ssuper moon. :/ lol

I'm 33+2 and I've lost my plug and dilated to 1 1/2-2 cm and having contractions but only notice when hooked up to the stress monitor. And my doctor says labor is still at least 2-3+ weeks away so we'll see. Are you dilated at all?

My mucous plug never had any blood in it, it was exactly as you described it. For me I lost my plug the night labour started

Your mucous plug can rebuild itsself , and if it doesn't it doesn't necessarily mean labor is coming it can still be weeks until baby males an appearance , let your docto r know .

actually, your mucus plug doesn't always contain blood, as you can lose it bit by bit and not even know you lost it. I ended up in labor and delivery and was dilated and they said yes I had already lost mine. All I recalled was the past couple weeks at times having large amounts of stringy clear mucousy stuff. Just tell your doctor when you see changes in stuff like that, you never know it could be part of your mucous plug. Everyone is different.
