Maternity leave
I go to school for cosmetology 5 days a week 8 hours a day I have a little over two weeks left and was wondering if I could start my maternity leave considering I'm missing more school then going with how hard this last month has been going, anyone take their maternity leave before baby came?
My school allows leave, it stops my hours because it is a hour based school not credit based. I was just curious because I have to talk to my obgyn about taking the leave
I didn't want to take my leave but now I am 9 days from my due date and I have been sick for the last 5. I have had to call into work twice in 5 days. I go to she my ob today and I'm considering talking to them to go out on leave. I am miserable and can't be sick when my daughter is born.
"Maternity leave" usually refers to work, not school.
