With my first I felt the same but girly let me tell you, after 48 hours I got the epidural! All I can say is water births I can see being easier, I spent like 25 hours in my bathtub while on labor because it eased the pain at unimaginable levels!
Hi I'm 17 had my daughter on January 26 she's 5 months old. I went natural & it honestly wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. My contractions started at 1 in the morning and I had her at 7:15am.
I had to get cut but they numbed it before so I felt nothing when they did the cut or after when they stitched it. It was very fast honestly and very rewarding.
I'm not gonna lie it does hurt but its nothing you can't handle once you learn how to deal with the pain you get better at it every time & it feels less painful with time as you already know what to do & what to expect. You will do just fine just keep reminding yourself your a contraction closer to meeting your lovely bundle of joy
They don't numb it when they cut you. But it's so fast you don't feel it. And yes they numb you when they stitch you
planning on going natural too when the inject u to get numb and to stich u up do u feel any of that ?
I started contractions at 3am. Then active labour at 11 am. Then baby was born at 8pm
I was in active labour for 8 hours. But in active labor you still have time between contractions to drink and eat and talk etc. They cut me when I was pushing because my baby was 9lb2oz. As soon as they cut me it was one push then he came out. Then afterwards they numb the area and stitch it while the baby is still akin to skin with me. But I hardly felt them cut it
@zareenawifey they cut you while you were doing natural birth? When did they cut during the whole things And how long till baby was out for you?
@maw4398 oh okay, that gives me strength! Thanks! lol
I'm 5'3 and was about 120 before baby, so average I guess.
I went natural and had a long labour with a bug baby and I had to get cut. But it's really not that bad. Our bodies are made for it. And afterwards you get the natural high and forget about the whole thing. I am going natural again for this one. :) you can do it!
omg, I really hope I'm as lucky as you are. Are you a small person? I'm 5'0 and starting weight was 100 or so before pregnancy.
I've done natural twice and it's really not that bad...but I have a fairly high pain tolerance. First baby was out in 15 minutes and required no stitches. Second baby was out in about 12 minutes and also required no stitches. I've been lucky so far.
