OT- 10 Month old climber- Vent

My youngest son(Dalton) is 10 months old. We just bought our first house about a month and a half ago and since then we have discovered what a little climber we have! First it was the stairs, then it was the fireplace, then the bed (very high) Now today im in the kitchen getting breakfast ready and I turn around and he is sitting on our kitchen table!!! My baby is only 10 MONTHS OLD, LOL! I have 2 older boys also and I have never had this problem before. Dalton started crawling early and has been walking on furniture for months now. He just started walking independently and im so worried he is going to kill himself! As I type he is trying to climb up the entertainment center!!!! I am due to have antother baby next month and at the rate he is going im going to have a heart attack soon! I dont know how im going to deal with him once our daughter arrives in a few weeks! I have put up a gate at the top of the stairs so that he doesnt fall down, but now I have to get one for the bottom to keep him from climbing up. As for child proofing ................How do I child proof a bed?? It so high up, I am in Awww that he can even get up there. I have a heck of a time getting in and out of that bed, lol. I have resorted to shutting the door to our bedroom and the one to the bathroom also (he likes to climb in the tub) But I am clueless on what to do about the table. I have tried keeping the chairs pushed in but he seems to want to climb on it all the more, maybe he likes a challange? Everyone keeps telling me he is trying to get out of the way for the new baby but IDK. This is just crazy! I cant turn my back for a second and im so tired:( Thanks for letting me vent:)

They have gates you can make into a play area, you can set it up so he can only play in a certain space.

Worriedbabe- I can see toddlers doing this but as I said none of my other boys did any of this starting so young. Well as we speak he just fell off his scooter, he was climbing on the handlebars, lol. The weird thing is he doesnt get hurt!
Chantal- I feel like im going to have a heart attack!! I would be happy if he just started climbing on the couches like Jeremiah. I really wish I didnt have to worry about him going up the stairs but everytime time I turn my back he is up the steps! It gives me quite a work out, lol. As for the gate around the table................my whole house is open. Kitchen, dining room and living room are all connected and open so I would have to gate Everything! I need to get another set of eyes for the back of my head, lol!

Jeremiah is 15 months and just now started getting up onto the couch...he is by no means a climber! lol. I'm kinda thankful after hearing Dalton climbs onto the table. I would have a heart attack if he figured that out!!! It sounds like you are doing what you can to keep from climbing certain things, but as for the table...that's a tough one. Can you put a gate somewhere so he can't get into the kitchen when you don't want him in there? I still need to get gates, for the most jeremiah doesn't have any interest climbing the stairs unless we tell him to go upstairs. Since my bed is downstairs and it's much lower to the ground, I thought for sure he would be able to climb up so we can read or eat a snack together, but he STILL can't even do that!! He whines everytime he tries and then I have to pull him up. lol.

lol, i empathise. all my boys were like that. basically, toddlers are no sense of danger on legs and sounds like Dalton's started early. all you can do is childproof what you can and watch him like a hawk. perhaps fit a bolt/small lock to the room with the high bed in it so you can lock him out of that room. the table, i don't know. Liam's 2 1/2 and he STILL climbs.
