I've been having them lately and the lady above posted is right. My stomach just gets really hard (where you can't push your belly in at all) and shortening of breath for about 15-30 seconds. Very painless, just really uncomfortable feeling.
Braxton hicks contractions are painless, irregular, tightening, contractions on your abdominal area. if you feel your stomach and its hard without any pain than its a Braxton hicks contraction. they say you shouldn't feel them at all, but I always know when I am having one.
