It was like that for a while when I had my.first because my hubby worked third. He's just doing what he's gotta do. Don't worry, he's around and your son can sense that. My husband only recently quit nights and works days now. But my son is two and gets super excited to see him. It'll be ok. It's better than not being there at all!
That's how I felt when I had my son. It is tough but you gotta remember he's doing it for his family and having a baby isn't cheap. Has he always worked these hours?? Is the 6th day mandatory?? I'm on baby number 2 and the hubby's always around and it irritates me now like I want him gone at work all the time lol sad I know but it happens
Believe me, I know how you feel. My husband works non stop. The last time he had a night off was oct 13 for our baby shower. He works nights so sleeps all day. Our kids miss him a lot, but this is only while i cant work. Im high risk and havent been able to work in months. I dont tell him anything because I know he does it for us and once the baby is here he'll be able to go back to an 8hr shift and get his sunday family day back. Everything will be okay...we can make our hubby's feel guilty about something they're doing with the best intrest at heart. Besides, its not like my hubby wants to work so much, but if he doesn't our bills won't get paid.
I just had my son on the 18th and my husband will be going away for training the 18th of December. He works now up until then. I'm pretty scared my son wont know his daddy since training will last for about 6 months): stay strong
Well this is actually his 1st real job, we've been together for a lil over 2 years and I've always been the only one that worked, even thru out my pregnancy. He's had jobs but they never lasted. He's been at this one since our son was a week, his pay isn't hourly it's based on how many jobs get done so that's why the hours are so long.
I understand u completely my husband works night shift he Goes in at 5 pm and gets out whenever works is done. I have 4 kids with one being a week and a half old I hate that my hubby works nights I feel like he doesn't see us enough only his days off but I'm grateful he has a job. And when I had my son my hubby was only able to be with me the day I had my son so it was hard for me being in the hospital by myself. Hopefully things get better for u and me good luck =)
My daughter will experience that when she comes. My bf works 8pm to 8am and sometimes longer. He works 4 to 5 days a week. Definitely not looking forward to that :(
