Hopefully it is a pulled muscle. I have a suspected femoral hernia (along the "panty line" on the front of my pelvis). The test he did was to push down in that location, then have me sit up (hurt more). It also hurts more when I cough and doesn't seem to hurt so much with standing as with certain motions. He suggested a "belly band" since I am a teacher on my feet most days. It comes and goes but when it comes back, it's with similar intensity, which differs from a muscle strain.
I talked to his nurse today and they think I pulled a muscle, we are in the middle of packing up our house to move. I thought I've been careful, but I guess I wasn't as much as I thought. I have an appointment next week and said that they will check it out then. This is my 2nd pregnancy but I never had anything like this with my son. But thank you for answering :)
Could definitely be a pulled muscle BUT also sounds like regular pregnancy issues as well, the further along you get the more sore the pubic area will be, there is alot of extra blood flow and actual separation of the joints and bones in that area... just be careful when standing up or rolling over. Just be sure to ask your doc on your next appt.... I am sure all is well tho.
