Prenatal care

is it really important for me to take my prenatal pills? I'm 32 weeks &  honestly i haven't really been taking them for months, I forget since I have a 9 month old to take care of. Would it affect the baby or me??

The vitamins are for you more than baby because baby is taking what he/she needs from your body anyway. The vitamins help to replenish levels in your body so that you don't feel as sluggish or icky. They're really just recommended and a benefit - not a necessity. I was terrible about them with my first pregnancy and my boy was completely healthy!

I had a dry erase board next to my bed (or you can just make a check list on paper) and would made a calander or check list (I did both) and check off each day I took them also I left little notes in dry erase marker on my mirrors so when I was getting ready in the morning I would see it and remember. I had a hard time remembering to take mine as well

Thankyou ladies
Well we sure don't waste any time on making babies lol jk
What would you call eating well because I'll maybe eat just twice a day & only 1 is a good meal. I also forget to eat sometimes. Also been to the hospital because of a really bad pain around my upper belly & back .... Turned out i was dehydrated

You'll get a lot of different opinions. My prenatals gave me horrible heartburn so I told my doctor I wasn't taking them and that I had been taking flintstone vitamins with iron and she said that's perfectly fine, but to take 2 instead of just 1 a day because later in your pregnancy the iron is mostly what I needed.

I'm 25 weeks along and I have a 9 month old too, that's cool! I think the prenatal vitamins are important for you more than your baby as long as you are eating healthy your baby is getting all of the necessary vitamins from you but you aren't getting any because the baby is taking them so maybe just take them for yourself
