If you can, why don't you check on line and see if you can find anything? My hospital offers online prenatal classes for the busy moms.

I wasnt able to taje one with my first so i just researched onlibe and i had the what to expect book which helped alot. I just wanted to be prepared when i went into labour. Also theres usually quite a few mommy groups u can join once babe is born to help with all the queations. Unfortunately whhere i am you have alot of support until baby is born then your just kinda thrown into it on your own so i had to figure out alot of things for myself. You will do just fine!

Women, young and old, have been having babies for many many MANY years, way before books, classes and forums : ) You will be fine. I just did my own research on some things. I think we all get nervous and have our doubts, but that will all pass with time.

My mom had me at 19 never took any classes and she said that between all three labours her first was the easiest. She said her body just knew what to do and it was so much better then trying to remember all the tips they tell you in class. As for afterward, your motherly instinct will kick in :) and u can always seek help here or ur parents or friends or doctors :) ur neber alone even though sometimes it my feel like it but u just gotta know where to look. No worries! If women werent met to have kids we wouldnt be having them. Weve been doing this for thousands of years :) its in our genes

My OB joked with me some of the classes aren't worth the money because once you're in labor all those breathing techniques go out the window. Lol I opted out of classes, not because of my OBs comment but SO's and my  work schedules didn't fit.

I would check out Pregnacy/baby books out from the library and read (free). And SO secretly taught himself how to swaddle a baby by watching Youtube. He was a swaddling machine. It was cute how proud he was at the hospital.

Also, when you hold your baby for the first time, somehow you naturally know what to do. And the nurses are willing to help or teach you techniques while youre at the hospital. It will be ok, I think most ftm feel a bit nervous as the due date gets closer.

I worked to long that I couldn't take any classes either, but I'm sure that when push comes to shove we'll be just fine :)
