OT, I'm so lost! :(

Please bear with me. I just honestly don't know what to do anymore.

Well I'm happy  I'm at 8dpo but that's the only happy part!  Today I went to get the results of my MRI and X-ray.  Let me start by my first visit to this dr. there were 5 people in 5 rooms waiting.  I noticed he was going in and out like crazy. Wasn't even in there with the patients for about 5 min a piece!  I thought " wow I hope he's not that fast with me".  Well he WAS BUT he also ordered the MRI and stuff.  He didn't even really listen to everything I had to say.  SO today I go back for results and guess what?? I was back there with him a whole 5 min again!!  Me and my mom both were talking to him, he kept butting in and wouldn't even listen to everything i had to say. I was SO upset.  He was pratically rushing us out the door while talking!  My mom was telling him about my DH telling me to bend over and touch my toes one morning because my back was hurting so bad. I did and he ran his finger down my spine, when he got to my lower back it's like he hit a nerve and it hurt soo bad, even made me teary eyed.  So mom was telling him this and you know what his response was???   "Tell him to stop touching that spot!".  :O  Needless to say he didn't see anything on my MRI or X-ray according to him.  He wants to do some kinda electrode something other because I also have pain that radiates down my left leg.  I'm SO LOST!  I dont know what to do anymore. :(  I feel like there's no hope as to why I hurt.  Should I go back to the dr. that did my laparoscopy and tell him he missed something???  He said "I've done everything as far as your female pain is concerned".  I honestly think he missed something.  I don't think he had time to look everywhere.  Surgery started and I was out in 45 min. Did he have time to look everywhere??  Just lost. Tired and definitely tired of hurting and not knowing why.  I don't want to ask for pain meds.  I'm not a pill head.  I even have pain pills from my surgery that I take when I start because my pain is SO bad.  Throwing up..passing out..of course I'm going to take something.  The pain pill doesn't take away my pain but it knocks me out.  Do they offer me anything??/ NO!!  p!ss on me, p!ss on the fact that I hurt so bad. No thanks I do'nt need anything to help since you haven't done anything for me YET!  UGh.

Yrs ago (corny sounding huh? lol) I started having really bad periods.  Alot of bleeding and my pain got worse over time as well.  Then I started having irregular bleeding.  AT this time I did not have insurance and knew something was wrong and whatever it was I coudln't afford to fix it.  My pain is to the point that I pass out, I've thrown up, it effects my blood pressure.  I used to could take tylenols, then it was 3 - 6 tylenols and now it's a pain pill that doesn't even phase the pain. It actually knocks me out and I sleep through it. And I've tried everything, hot baths, heating pads, yadda yadda yadda. They even put me on naproxin and it didn't help.  I have ALOT of pain in my lower back constantly and during AF it's the worst! This is when I need the pain pill.  For at least 3 days I'm knocked out. I have alot of ovarian pain and lower stomach pain during AF.  I wouldn't consider them as "normal" cramps. On a scale from 1-10 during AF all of my pain is around a 15 and I'm not even joking.  My lower back pain on an everyday basis is around a 5.  So, I got insurance they put me on birth control because they thought it was probably endometriosis. My aunt had endo so bad they did a hysterectomy at 29!!  So the birth controls helped my bleeding and pain for about 5 months. Bleeding was still good but then my pain came back the same if not worse. Then my gyno sent me to a "fertility specialists" because he could "preserve" my fertility since I was and have been trying to conceive with no luck.  Another problem added to my list.  So he did the lap and hysteroscopy and found mild endo, cyst on fallopian tube and polyp in the middle of my uterus.  I noticed before my surgery I was having problems with having a bowel movement. To the point where I'd have to stop trying all together because it hurt so bad and by then I was in tears.  So 2 weeks after my surgery I went for checkup and told him about my pain and he said " give it 2 or 3 months, you're still fresh out of surgery".  Well here it is 5 months later and nothing has changed.  I thought "okay do this in a step by step process".  Went and had a colonoscopy because of the BM problems and everything was fine there.  Then the back dr. and apparently everything is fine there.  I'm soo lost, upset and confused.  I honestly think the dr. that did my surgery missed something.

What do I do from here?  I'm so lost, upset, and not to mention stressed completely out!!   Thank you for any help at all!!

Thanks so much Tasia, that's definitely what I'm going to do.  I understand that sometimes women have AF cramps but this is way beyond normal. I'm going to start researching, start talking and finding me someone in the meantime, then after Christmas I'm going to give it another go.  IF things get to bad during AF surely going to the ER would help!

I would just continue to see different doctors until they figure out what is wrong. I pray they do soon, sounds like you are in a lot of pain.

That would be so nice to find a dr. like that Cnj.  I know I dont have it bad because there's always worse, I'm just looking for MY light at the end of the tunnel.

SunWorshiper, You're absolutely right!  I will continue to go to dr. after dr. if I have to to see whats' wrong.  There's no sense in living the rest of my life like this. I think 6 yrs is plenty!!  I'm so glad you found the one for you and soo happy that you're pregnant!! Congratulations hun!!  I can only hope! :)

Thank you both for the encouraging words!  It really means so much to me.

I absolutely think you need to see a new dr. There are some rare things out there and sometimes you have to see dr after dr before finally finding one that actually finds what's wrong. Like for me it took SIX OB's before I was dx w PCOS. Nobody spent time w me nobody listened and nobody cared bc I was young. So glad I kept searching. Now I have an amazing OB and I am 27 weeks pregnant!  So demand the best, expect the best and keep searching till you find answers

One of these days, when you think your about to hit a brick wall... it'll feel as soft as a pillow! Everything will work itself out. But for sure, get a new doctor. My mothers doctor will actually sit there and ask about your life.. What you had for dinner... what did you do today... that kinda thing. Their hard to find but I'm sure it will be worth it once you find one!

Thank you so much for answering. I thought he was a jerk as well and you're right.  Definitely too busy to care.  I think he was more worried about " more patients, more money". I am going to see a new dr.  Probably going to have to wait until after Christmas.  Between Thanksgiving, Christmas all the copays for dr.'s visits and the $300 copay everytime I have an "outpatient procedure" I'm running out of funds!  On top of going to the gyno for my clomid cycle.  I just wished it was easy for once.  I feel like everytime I try, I hit a brick wall.   Thank you so much again!

Sounds like your doctor is a bit of a j e r k. The whole thing about having a good relationship with your doctor means that they listen to what you have to say..... is there any other way you can get a new doctor??? He sounds too busy to truly care about every symptom/story. Their are doctors out there who do listen! And you could get someone else to look at you and see what's going on. DF had pain in his back and still does and it goes down his left leg but they said he has arthritis...
Sorry you aren't having the best time right now. I hope it all gets better soon.
