My midwife was able to just feel. The back to the front can be pretty obvious.
Thanks again for the encouragement I feel better
Sorry ladies, I'm a ftm. What do doctors use to tell the position of the baby? Can they just feel it or do they do a scan? Just wondering what to expect. I'm 31w 4d.
Thanks so much for the encouragement as soon as my water breaks I'm jumping on all fours lol thank u!
Ya my daughter was like that till 7 cm. Took forever!! But I got on All fours and she flipped and I went from 7 to 10 immediately. My son was the same but as soon as my labour started I got on my knees and leaned on an exercise ball and just rocked. He flipped and was WAY easier. Good luck!
They can turn last minute. Dont worry. Otherwise the doctors can try turning her. My office has a experienced doctor who successfully turns bsbies.
Thanks ladies I feel a whole lot better; I suppose I was freaking out bc its getting so close to the end of my pregnancy
And I was 1 day early with my first.
No that's not true...I had my baby at 39weeks exact
My first was born sunny side up too. I wouldn't worry too much. Spend a lot of time on our hands and knees rocking to encourage baby to flip :)
Is it true that people pregnant with sunny side up babies tend to be over due? I'm 2cm dialated and really would like things to progress
My first was born sunny side up. It didn't seem to affect the length of my labor but it did cause me to have really bad back labor. I was in labor for 5 hours and pushed for an hour or so. Good luck!
My daughter was sunny side up but she turned :).... Try gettin on your hands and knees and rocking back and forth...also when your sitting don't lean back let your belly hang...crawling also helps them to turn and If you have a birthing ball sit on it or lay across it with your belly hanging.
