My son was born sunny side up. I have nothing to compare it to so I don't know if it was more painful but 17 hours and no pain medication so it wasn't too bad. I know it sounds funny but get on your hands and knees and do some pelvic rocks. That can make a baby want to turn around just due to gravity.
Ty stacey will research n practice those positions!!!
There are ways to encourage a postierior baby to turn, babies who are postierior, tend to be more of a backache labour and the labours are generally abit longer as their heads done put the same amount of pressure on your cervix, so your best bet would to google positions to encourage bub to turn, I know that when you sit, ensure that your pelvis is tilted forward so your sitting more on your vagina than bum, and when your sitting on your couch dont lie back, also sitting indian style will encourage her to turn, if she hasnt turned before you go into labour, make sure you stay in an upright position, or if you have a backache labour get on all fours as that will bring baby off your spine, and due pelvic rocks as well :)
Thanks ladies!!! Im not bein induced. I take progerstrone shots to keep her in, but this thurs is my last one.

My daughter was sunny side up and I had back labor as well. It's just supposedly more painful on mom.
I was induced with my first boy in labor for 12 hours and pushed for 15 minutes he was face up and they had to use forceps and the vacuum to get him out only time that my epidural seemed to work was when I was pushing so I didn't feel him as he was coming out.
It's a bit more painful, but not impossible. My daughter was face up and tilted slightly to the right and it caused back labour. I don't know if you can make them flip or not but it would be something to ask your doctor about when you see them. Are you being induced? You could still go several weeks.
