my dad and stepmum bought mine and its great, babes wasn't keen on it at first but now is quite content in it. its the mamas and papas starlight one so it has fairy lights on the canopy which flicker and babes just stares at them in amazement as they change colour and pattern lol. its a godsend for when i need to do washing or ironing or sweep / mop the floors x
The swing was a must have with my daughter... They're kind of expensive but they're worth it. I found one recently that's like a travel swing but it has a lock on it so it can be used as a bouncer as well.
I loved it with my son. He fell asleep in it, and when he got a bit bigger it kept him entertained for a bit so i could clean or cook. I just bought a used one tho, they outgrow them so fast most used ones are like new.
it'll help you get more stuff done around the house or school work if your in college or anything. im 29+1 and i already got one i watch my 2 baby sisters one is 3 months and one is 1 year they both love swings(although you'd have to get a bigger one once the babys about 5/6 months) it helps them fall asleep but if you dont want to pay the full price get one from a consignment shop :)
Ive never used one, a lot of people live them, but its not a necessity
I use it all the time. My girl is 2 weeks old and doesn't fit in her bouncer yet or I'd be using that too. It's a really good soothing tool but some babies hate em. It just depends on how your lil one reacts. It's not necessary but I find it helpful especially if I want to keep my eye on her while I do chores since I put it in my living room
I had my son 6 weeks ago and my swing is a life saver! I feed him burp him and put him in there why I clean And cook and he doesn't fuse mostly just falls asleep. So I suggest it so you can do tasks when baby doesn't wanna sleep and is crying when not being held. Mine was 60 at target not to expensive.
I used mine more than anything else.
