That is really how I feel just no strength...
I THOUGHT ultra sounds were pretty accurate... within a few days anyway. I would think it would still be safe as long as your dates are within 2 weeks.
I know the longer the baby stays in the stronger they are, but aren't babies born way too early all the time? I don't mean for anyone to take this lightly, but even if you are 35 wks 4 days... Thats not that bad. I have heard anything past 36 weeks they don't try to stop labor anyway.
When I called my OB that day, they were not overly concerned with how I felt; they said the majority of it was normal that late in the pregnancy.
I ended up in L&D later that day because I was escorted to the nurse here at my company, and she was alarmed at my heart rate and how pale I looked, not to mention the fact that I felt I didn't even have the strength to stand for more than a few seconds. As I was on my way out the door to leave work and to to the ER, I got a sudden onset of contractions. A co-worker drove me to L&D, and a few hours later, they were stopping my labor because I'd dilated 2½ cm. I was hospitalized for four days and on bedrest for the next five weeks. I delivered by induction at 38 weeks.
I have a question is there a reason as to y u r gettin induced?and I think it might just be your nerves as well .I wish the best :)
AHP That is excally how I feel!!!! Maybe I should call my OB? I just feel awful!
vacuumprincess: They are really unsure about my dates. I may be 2 weeks earlier than they think but the 20 week u/s said that I was within a few days of the due date the doctor said I was which puts me at 37 weeks 4 days! What do you think is more accurate the date the doctor gave or should I be concerned about being earlier!
I had mine induced at 37 weeks after I had amnio at 35 wks. Her lungs were wonderful at 37 weeks. I'm sure you are ready & all will go fine.
I'm 36 wks 4 days today. 2 days ago I felt reallt lightheaded & nauseous too. nothing has happened..... come on I'm ready!
Here is my post about how I was feeling the day I went into labor (preterm, which was stopped). It sounds similar to how you're feeling. You're probably getting pretty close! Hope you feel better soon, and have a cute, cuddly baby in your arms too!

I was up a lot in the night last night with bad contractions but they subsided.. so I chalked it up to false labor... I just wish he would come tonight..... I have also been having some upper gastric issues where I am having terriable pain up above where the uterus is. It is just getting worse!!!
I felt that way before I went into labor. Definately may be due to nerves because you are worried about amnio and inducing.
