Twins or not??

Hey guys, I haven't been on here in a while, but I have recieved some pretty awesome advice before, so here I am again.  There is somethng that has been, well not really bothering me but on my mind constantly lately.  I am now about 11 weeks pregnant, and have not been to the doctor yet, but I have an appointment on the 23rd.  Is there anyone out there who has been pregnant with twins or know someone who has that can give me a little insight?  I have this nagging feeling that I am pregnant with twins!!  Twins do not run in either my side or my husban's side of the family, but there's just something that I am feeling that is making me think I am going to have twins!!  I have had 4 children, and I have never had this feeling before, but when I was pregnant with them, I always just knew what I was having before I found out on the ultrasound, kind of like a hunch...I knew when all of my boys were boys, and they all pretty much felt the same, of course not exactly but pretty much, and then when I got pregnant with my daughter, it was so much different, I knew she was going to be a girl...but this time, it is way different....like nothing I have ever felt like....I never actually threw up with any of my other kids, and I have been throwing up lately, my emotions are so much more exaggerated than with any of the other ones, I am having 10 times more cramping than with any of the other ones, I am ravenous all the time, I have to pee 100+ times a day it feels like (pf course that is an exaggeration too) but I get up like 4-6 times a night to pee, and my pants are beginning not to fit, and I usually don't have to wear loose clothing, or start showing until about 4 1/2 to 5 months...with all my other ones!!!  So, can you guys help me and give me some advice and wisdom with this?  Is it in my head?  Oh yeah, and another thing, I had 6 positive pregnancy tests 5 days before I missed my period!!  Please help!  Is this in my head?  Am I just paranoid?  Or is there something to this???   Please, the more advice the better!!!!  Normally I would just wait until I see the doctor, but this feeling is getting more and more intense everyday I am almost obsessing over it, not only that but my first appointment I only go in to see a medical assistant, and I don't know if she will listen for the heartbeat or not...I cannot make an appointment to see the actual doctor until after I see the medical assistant.... I am pregnant with twin girls (tomorrow starts 31st week) and this is my second pregnancy.  I did not notice ANYTHING different with this pregnancy than with my first.  I was shocked when I had first appt at 6 weeks and we saw two sacs and two heartbeats!  As a matter of fact, my breasts were more tender at the beginning with the first pregnancy and were larger at this point in the first pregnancy than with this pregnancy.

Every woman is different.  You just have to go to your doctor and get them to confirm your suspicion.

Thank you all sooo much!!!  I know that every pregnancy is different, it's just that for some reason, with this one, I have this feeling like something unusual is going on.  Who knows, maybe I just have a horrible case of paranoia (most likely the case) or maybe there is something going on...who knows.  I mean, it's not that I have a feeling that something bad is going on, just something unusual, you know??  I was just wondering if anyone else had something similar happen to them??  I wouls love to get some more feedback, too!!

Yeah, I'm beginning to feel very tired and now I'm starting to feel I'm pregnant with multiples.

Many woman just have that feeling and it ends up being true. My instincts are off. I'm almost 7 weeks pregnant and when i found out I was pregnant, I was sure I was only pregnant with 1, come to find out the doctor found 4 heartbeats. Of course everyone is different, but many women sense what they have. I know when I was pregnant from my daughter, I knew all along I was having a girl and everyone that would see my belly would tell me I was having a boy. Anyway, good luck and hope you find out soon!!!

I've known women who knew they were having twins before the dr even told them. But you have to keep in mind every pregnancy is different, and even though your not use to showing right away or peeing a million times a night you can still have that with a single baby. heck when I was 11 weeks pregnant my pants were already undone and it is my first pregnancy with one baby.
Also I'm sure if you ask the medical assistant she'll look for two heart beats on the doppler. Your the mom you have every right to ask to hear your childs heart beat. lol anyways congratulations on the pregnancy try not to stress or worry about twins. Soon enough you'll find out for sure.
