my story

I just turned 19 and my fiance and I are expecting our first child. I'm 27 weeks and have been on bed rest for the last month and a half due having a tear in my placenta causing it to detach. My doctor is pretty confident that I won't make it past 30 weeks before my princess is here and it scares me because I'm home alont for most of the day while my fiance is off at training

I'm 19 and my husband is in the marines so he works all day and I have no friends here. Cause. I moved to his duty station
I am 13 weeks and he is deploying September 21 and wont be back til after the baby is born):

Thank you ladies. I almost think its harder to be a military wife than a soldier. I appreciate everything your families do for the rest of us and you always are in my prayers. Good luck!

I'm trying to but its hard finding wives/fiances my age on the base when I'm on bed rest and I think my fears are adding to my stress and knowing I have an appointment on Thursday that could potentially lead to an emergency c-section depending on whether or not my princess is extremely destressed is horrifying. Placenta Abruptio is so nerve racking and tiresome I just pray she's getting enough oxygen still and can hold on until at least 33 weeks

well atleast he doesnt leave until after the baby is born. Like i said find girls your age that are in the same position. My fiance is in Holding, so we dont know when he will get orders, or where he will even go. He could deploy, go on a boat, or get stationed in a hospital. So idk if he will be here or not for our babys birth. Thats extremely frightening. But I have alot of ppl who support me and are ready to help me, so i know it will all be ok. Juss with Military, your their strength, so you have to try your hardest not to be weak. :/

They wanted to send my husband off to training and he wouldn't get back until right before I was due. Luckily he said no and switched with someone else in his unit. Now he leaves less than a month after the baby is born. Good luck girl if you need to talk im here as well.

Military? I am 20, 10w1d, and my fiance is a Navy Corpsman. I found it helps to find other girls your age who are pregnant and going through the same thing. I had only seen my fiance for 6 days through out a 9 month period, inbtwn bootcamp and a school, and after that, I came to live with him, even though we arent married and the Navy doesnt pay for it yet. Youll get through it as long as you have ppl to support you. Good luck. Message me anytime you want sweetie.
