I'm currently 18 weeks and school starts in a month. I only have have a year left. I'm doing this semester online.
I'm 17 weeks pregnant and i start college on august 15. I'm doing 7 classes online and now that I'm pregnant i think that's a bit much but i have to take that many to receive financial aid. I'm going to do everything possible to do it. I have a part time job and a 4 year old and a 5 year old plus the demands of my household. Good luck to you and pray for me. Lol :)
Good job and good luck to you scholarly mommies!! Thank you all for sharing and for the encouragement- truly helps!
A 3 month maternity leave? Thats generous. I don't think my school offers that but i'll ask. Good luck to you!
Wow! That's amazing- you go girl! But no one is saying if they took breaks or not to have their baby and how they transitioned back to school. How did you do it?
I'm going to school starting august 26th. When I signed up I told them I was pregnant. My school actually offers a 3 month maternity leave. I didn't know about it til they told me but it realived a lot of stress
Hi. Well I'm 25 weeks pregnant. And I'm staring a Univercity this September. Pretty excited. I'm living with my bf grandma now. so she will help me to take care of my baby while I'm at school. I hope i will survive studies full day time. If not. That it will be kind of sad. Because studies cost around 2k dollars semester. Don't want to get money wasted.
I'm 22 weeks pregnant and have been in college the entire time. I only have 3 more classes to get my AA so I'm just taking the 3 classes in "A-term" of the fall, which is half the semester. So my classes will be from aug-oct then I'll be finished and I'll have my baby in dec. many school offer "A or B" term classes, this could get your classes done quicker and also allow you to take classes right up until before you're due. Good luck!
I am in college just finished summer classes 3 more weeks for fall class start && I don't plan on giving up. Better future for my self and my family you can do it girl!!!!! I also have two daughters this will be my 3rd majoring in the medical field! !!!
I'm 19, and a little bit over 4 weeks. I'm going back to school in September
Yeah, I figured I would have to take a quarter off. I have orientation the end of August so I am going to ask a bunch of questions about what I can do to finish some what on time.
You can do it! Just stay focused and try not to stress :)
What I plan on doing Is she will come late October which midterms are usually mid October so I'm just going to even ask professors if it's possible to take them early if I have to. Usually professors understand if you just talk to them about the situation. As for finals, she will already be about two months when I take them and I'm sure I'll be able to do that :) with her father watching her. I don't work at all, my bf works so not really a work load :p I got lucky.
I'm 28wks & starting school next month, full time, idk how I'm going to do it but I'm gunna figure it out & make those grades happen!
You are not alone. Im 9 weeks and I plan to continue law school this coming fall semester. Im not sure what im going to do next semester though. I want to be there for my baby.
I was in school from the beginning to 35wks. My entire first trimester I worked two part time jobs, and was full time. My second and third trimester I worked one part time job and took 17hrs. It was very difficult, but if you take care of yourself it's doable. Make sure to have some good protein filled snacks on you, and a nice big water bottle. Go to bed early and get your rest. Good luck!
How awesome! Congrats on finishing up! and thank you!
Oops. I just deleted my whole response and clicked some stuff lol. I don't know how that happened. I accidentally selected a best answer haha. Oh boy- I should sleep.
I am 15 weeks 4 days and I start my last semester in august and finish a month before my duty date. It's four full days a week so it will be tiring but managable. You can do it!
Best of luck AdventureTime, and good for you for being so dedicated! Right now I'm 34 weeks, going to school full time, and working a part time job. I'm not going to lie, it's not easy, but if you take care of yourself (get enough sleep, eat well, let your teachers know what's going on) you'll do perfectly fine! I took classes and worked two jobs last semester while I was in my first and second trimester, and I ended up with a 4.0. So who knows! Your pregnancy could be your motivation to do well!
