Update on TJ! NEW things!

So I thought I'd  post a little update on TJ. He's doing GREAT. He's gaining weight like a champ, and even beginning to eat a few "ppl food" items by mouth.  Last night I was eating some biscuits with jam on them, and I thought TJ might like some so I got a baby bite sized amt of the softer/gooier part of the biscuit with jelly on it and put it in his mouth. He didn't gag, as a matter of fact he gummed it a few times then swallowed it and wanted more.

I also gave him a couple cheetos(puffed kind) and he wasn't sure what to do with them, so I guided his hand to his mouth and he gummed it a bit but apparently didn't like the texture so he dropped them. The last few days he also holds his hands up to be picked up!

We clap our hands one or two times and say "do you want up?" and sign it too and he'll lift his arms up for us. it's TOOOOO cute! lol
We are very proud of our little man and the progress he's made from being at a newborn level 5 months ago (from that LONG hospital stay) to this. :)

I am so happy to hear he is doing well.  He is so adorable and you are so blessed to have such a wonderful little boy.  He truely is a gift from up above.

Thanks ladies! :) Today Tj's being a bit of a pill, lol. He's very grumpy for some reason.(teething?) so I gave him tylenol and gas medicine and am trying to get him happy.

That's awesome....It's the best when they start eating real food!  Esp. after all you have been thru with the little guy!  YAY TJ!
